So my mom must know that my girlfriend is more than just, a friend, but she chooses to ignore it.

Also for fun my girlfriend and i filled a condom up with water and then froze it, we inteded to fuck with it for fun but ended up forgetting about it, and then my mom cleaned the freezer out and its gone, but she didnt say anything.

Also, not about sex, my brother smokes pot in his room with his friends sometimes, and you can smell it in our house, but she chooses to ignore this too.

I know it sounds like my moms in denile and unable to confront her kids, but i reality she's very involved with us in other aspects of life, she just chooses to ignore unhappy truths that i guess she's unable to change.

Anybody's parents ignore then? Or confront them?

My mom activly encourages the knocking up of innocent passers by.

Mine ignores everything. She's to shy to confront me.

My parents awknowledge everything and have storys for everything.

I don't really know.. I never had really any trust issues with my parents, but if something bothered my mum she would make a sly or offhand comment about it and the convo would go from there.

My dad on the otherhand is oblivious to what goes on around the house and would only do the parental commenting thing if my mum and I were talking in the same room.

Perhaps she's just trying to respect your right to your lives. Or perhaps she's pill popping and drinking to the extent she doesent notice.



Her accepting the fact that her son smokes weed is one thing. Him doing it in the house and stinking the place up, and her not saying one word, is really,really fucking eerie..

Is your mum a guy in disguise by any chance?

Cause most middleaged women I know are obsessed about their houses smelling 'nice'. Ie, not of weed.

my parents are cool, my girlfriend stays over when ever i am home. My mum thinks i will marry her, it is freaky cos i could see it happening in 5years+.

i used to smoke and whn i was living at home my parents would always leave anti smoking leaflets around. twas funny. she has since stopped.

What pisses me off is that my dad is a bit of an annoying fuck now, he used to be ace and really alot of fun but he has since gone through a lot of shit which i guess has taken a lot from him.

My mum and dad split up when i was 15... now 16 but i never thought i was 'disowned' i tell my dad everything so he is close to me in many ways, my mum.. well... we talk a bit.

Or has no one watched dumb and dumber, so therefore no-one knows what hapens when something moist is put on something very cold and frozen..?

Not to suggest that that is anything approaching a good idea, touching ice is not the same thing as touching ice-cold metal.

Metal is a great thermal conductor, and so touching it to something moist will quickly freeze the moist item in question, to itself.

Ice on the other hand, conducts heat (or cold) rather poorly, and so would take long enough to transfer the necessary cold to the moist item that the ice would melt before freezing TO the moist object (distinct from simply freezing it).

My mother is in the middle ground. Not one of the strict paranoid "god doesn't want you to do that" kind of person, more the "not until your out of my house" kind of person.

My mom and I have this household law, well it goes for all places really.

If you dont get caught, it didnt happen.

I have my girl spend the night all the time, and there isnt a doubt in my mind that my mother knows what Im doing with her. I mean when we both come down to breakfast there are scratches and bitemarks visible.and smirks on both of our faces...

But my mum does the same thing (shes married, he cheats on her with a guy) so she hooks up with other guys, and I say nothing to her. its more or less a symbiotic relaitonship between us..which ends when I smoke weed...shes totally anti drug, but other than that, I guess yeah, my mom ignores it.

my mum is twisted enough to ask me about it just for the fun of the awkward moment...shes confronted me so much that its no longer awkward

When i lived at home my mom knew i drank heavily, and smoked pot. My parents knew I was fucking girls under their roof.

My mom has always been cool with me though. She always called me and told me to take back roads home if she knew there were going to be checkpoints and stuff.

My mom has known most of the girls I've slept with. She loves my current girlfriend, and that's good.

She's found my pot and simply told me to hide my shit better.

My mom is WEIRD.

She wants me to "remain pure" until marriage, but at the same time, she makes a really big production of it any time I seem remotely interested in girls... Which can cause problems. She seems to be in denial that I look at porn and have gotten laid a few times... I'm 17, and she still wants to know where I'm going to be and who with at all times. :S

As for my dad, he couldn't care less about any of that shit, just as long as I don't knock anyone up or get busted by the cops.

A mother who ignores the smell of weed looming from her son's bedroom isnt really asking to be respected, as such.

Ive always been very open about relationships when it came to my mother, but she hates me smoking weed... really hates it. I wouldn't even consider doing it in the house unless she was gone for a few days, or I knew there would be no chance of her smelling it. This is the same now as it was when I was fifteen.
