Default Baby names

I am looking for unique baby names for a girl. We already have a boys name picked out, but we need a girls name. So far we have Faith Constance, but it's not set in stone.

Also, we need a totse account name for the kid too, since I want to make him (it better be a boy dammit) an account. My name being stupid noob, and his mothers name being Miss Trust.

And to her, I love you toots.

Unique names are wonderful, except you have to remember that this is another bloody fucking human being. Not some pet that'll be dead in a week.

Maybe go with an interesting and exciting middle name if your last name is really that plain. But, though, go with a simple yet beautiful first name. Lauren, Cynthia, Anne, May, and Alice are all wonderful first names that aren't too out there (NO Starchild, Rainbow, Flowerpower, or anything else that bloody insanely hippie. And no strange names from places no one has ever heard of, either).

Just make sure to take it to heart that she's going to need to be called by this name for the rest of her life (or until she changes it because you picked a shitty one). So, aim for something that won't have her picked on in school, will make it so she doesn't need to restate and spell her name to EVERY person she talks to, and is still not that common in your area of the world.

Oh, and best of luck.

If you're a cop, Miranda Page would be cute.

Lots of sources on the net, check them out.

I know gus, I already got one kid, and her mother named her (against MY will) Tamira Love. I hate that fucking middle name.

I don't want anything too far out, but I don't want something common either.

And yes, my last name is VERY fucking plain. I tell people my first and last name, and they think I am fucking with them.

My name is way more generic than john smith. I didn't say common, I said generic.

I don't think the word "generic" means what you think it does.

What's your damn name?

It'd be totally awesome to give someone the middle name "Kindred".

1) Because that's what Philp K Dick's middle name was.

2) It sounds awesome and has a pleasant meaning.

3) Good initial.

It's a pity that Dick was, by most accounts, sort of a dick.

Just remember you aren't naming a baby you are naming a person.

I know I would hate to be named Hope, Faith, Love, Charity, Joy.

It's stupid, give your kid a proper name it will thank you for the decent name when you are older.

I've always liked Lilly or India for a girl.

Flower names for girls just seem so wonderful.

Faith is fine. And I know what generic means asshole, and there's no way I'm giving out my real name on the internet. That's just stupid.

I always liked the name zoe for a girl. I know it's not unique but whenever I think of a girl named zoe I can't imagine her being anything but beautiful.

It's Greek for "Life" by the way.

I really like Laura and Alice. nothing too uncommon, I know, but they go well with most last names and are nice in every language.

internationality would be a big factor for me. that's what rules out Faith for me (and the fact that I don't like it).

Is that a typo of "Imogen", or a radical new name?

i think alessandra is a beautiful name. i'm trying to picture the fattest, ugliest, most deformed and acne ridden girl, and still the name alessandra would give her an air of grace and beauty. it's also got some nice nicknames, such as alessa or sandra. (i prefer alessa.) it's not dumb or cutesy sounding either. it can be taken seriously, unlike a lot of word names.

also the problem with word names is they can turn out to be very ironic.

How about Aimée!

Or Juliana. Or Freja?

Ciara?

Daria? Ilona?

Gracie? Grace?

Penelope!

Penelope! Penelope would go lovely with a really plain last name, like Penelope Tree!
