List only 1 or 2 (no huge lists).

This is mostly for the girls, but guys can give their straight opinion as well.

Personally, I always notice huge triceps. The whole "horse shoe" thing when they're really defined.

Also, pecs (a huge chest).

So girls (and guys?) what muscles do you find most sexy on a guy?

I just like the arms to be a little muscular, and for maybe a firm stomach.

But that's all, I'm not crazy about muscular men.

Arms, and back. A slightly defined stomach doesn't hurt either. None of that over-pumped bodybuilder crap though. I like a little bit of soft to poke at.

^^^there are all types of girls out there. some want men to look like GI Joes. Others want them to look human.

Seriously, though, I don't like big muscles. I prefer function over form. If the muscles are a result of an activity in your life that brings you joy and fulfillment, that's hot. but if you're going to the gym several times a week to "sculpt" them, that's vain, and vanity is a turn off to me. as long is the guy is healthy, that's all i care about. anything past that is fluff, and i couldn't care less.

Not really bothered. I dont find huge bulgy muscles attractive, but I wouldnt say that a guy with big muscles was unattractive because I dont know what his personality might be like..

I'm not thinking about it, I already am doing it. With insanely good success.

I don't do it purely to get big. It's a way of replacing drugs in my life. One habit has to be replaced with another.

Actually, going to the gym is a very good way of venting stress and after an hour of working out I always feel good so not all the guys are doing it to get bigger muscles.

I used drugs for fun, and as a way of taking things out on my self. Punishment. If I was angry at my self, or something, I'd get MASSIVLY fucked up.

So when I work out, it has to have a feel of punishment. So I do low rep, very heavy weight excersise. For a short time afterwards, I actually feel euphoric , I'm loving it.

Well obviously it's nice for them to be quite a bit stronger than you, but that doesn't mean they have to look all 'buff'. That kind of devotion to constantly working on your body shows a streak of vanity which is offputting. Strong arms are nice to have wrapped around you, and make you feel safe, without them being all 'Mens Health'-ly.

Getting a little more buff will make you more attractive to females. It shows that you care about your health and appearance. Don't do it just to impress chicks though, do it for yourself, which you seem to be doing. Good job.

as a straight guy,that works out...when i can see that somebody works out,i always look at their backs...because my back isnt that muscular at all.no matter how hard i work it out.and forearms...i have kinda big biceps/triceps and some kinda skinny forearms with big hands...so its kindof an akward part of my body.

Lol, this is a ridiculous statement. So it is vain to go to the gym? How so? Believe it or not, most sports do not get you big muscles.

The big muscles come from lifting in the gym to improve yourself for the sport. However to just go to the gym to be in good shape is in no way vain.

Nah, man, if nothing else your reasoning behind it is as unvain as possible.

I for one don't consider working out at a gym vain, because men don't do it just because they love themselves, they do it because they don't and they want to improve.

As for what I tend to find aesthetically positive, arms, definitely legs, and definitely chest. I mean, you don't have to be pro-Wrestler big, but having definition from muscle rather than fat is more than a little pleasing to the eye.

My current gf is into thin guys, which is good for me because I have a hard time bulking up, It is almost impossible for me to maintain muscle once i have it, even if I keep a strict workout regiment. Oddly enough, sometimes she and I will work out together and 3 or so days later I can see that she has made gains that I was unable to. Strage, eh?

I'd go back to the gym, but it'd just feel weird having to take a cigarette break halfway through your workout. I don't like the gym much anyway. I lift at home, and swim 2-3 times a week. I know, I know, swimming and smoking don't mix, but I can't help it, I love two very opposite activities. I've got a pretty good build, but because I'm 6'3 with a high metabolism (and I don't eat enough), I look a lot less muscly(sp?) than I am. That an years of karate have given made me more flexible and fit.

Don't know why I'm talking about myself, must be the narcissism.

On girls though, I prefer slim to slightly chubby girls. I think it's cute and sometimes very sexy when a girl feels soft to the touch. I'm not talking about "MAN THE HARPOON" fat, but certain girls look better with some meat on them. Too skinny is a turnoff, as is muscle.

I don't really check out men, but I suppose I want to be a bit more muscly. I'm 180 now and I'd like to be about 210-ish. I guess that's what I find attractive in men, but confidence and charisma is way more important.

Every lady I've been with, or has expressed interest, has commented on my stomach. I think there's something about the lines leading up from the crotch over the thighs. Does that make sense? What I'm talking about is the lines that kind of make a V a little lower than my belt line.

I measured it all right now. Except my fish.... the belt i was using wasn't big enough. Kay I have a moderate amount of "padding" on me, I've been told I look like The big guy (Jethro) off of Beverly hill billies. so... ladies..... whats your opinion.

Do crunches, but instead of going directly up, lean towards one knee. Then the other. That'll work out your obliques.

Also, doing oblique crunches on a excersise ball work really well.

I'm not certain about this one, but I think if you lie down on your back and lift your legs slightly off the floor, that works out lower abs/obliques.

Do this and you'll have a sextastic body.
