To looks, personality, and smarts, how would you do it?

100% looks is a godly mix betwixt halle berry and kate winslet. 0% is tubgirlish.

100% personality is the nicest, coolest, funnest person you will ever meet. 0% is a jerk who you can't stand being around.

100% smarts is genius level. 0% means barely able to stand up without help.

I would give 30% to looks, 40% to personality, and 30% to smarts.

Personality is foremost, but the person has to be at least a little smart. And I'm partial to looks, so I wouldn't want her being a dog. But I think personality and smarts are more important.

And, even harder, what would you say the person you're with is, if applicable?

mine is the most perfect mate ive ever had/wil have. shes very nice to me and knows how to make me scream. she makes me laugh and knows quite a bit of things too. she makes me smile, she makes me laugh, sometimes she makes me scream but in a good way. the girl im talking about is...my hand.

I don't like this problem. These attributions are not taken into consideration with any sort of exclusivity, so weighting one heavier doesn't really detract from the importance of another. Personally, I look for someone with good looks, but I have a hard time pinning down what I really mean by that. I also look for someone who has a compatible personality, and I couldn't see an unintelligent gal having a personality in-step with mine. I guess I just have a problem with the way you phrased this question.

If we are talking basic limits I expect from my partner... it would be 35/80/70.

35 being no physical deformities, healthy.. but one ugly ass nose/huge ears/an extra 50 lbs okay.. not much worse.

What I have currently is about 30/60-80/60.

I understood perfectly about the division... I also agree that it doesn't make sense because these features are independant of each other. Thus the last two ratios are my own personal interpretation of 100% possible for each feature. 100 being ungodly wonderful and 0 being the quadruple amputee that was born in a coma and somehow survived.

Looks = 20

Personality = 30

Smarts = 50

Girls have to intellectually challenge me or i get bored.

40/40/20... I don't care if a girl's smart as long as she's attractive and makes me feel good about myself. I have enough smarts for the both of us. That said, I've only ever dated one dumb chick. But god she was stupid.

Yeah, I'd need 200%, with this system you either end up with someone who's all around mediocre or someone who's completely lacking in one or more area. But I think that makes it interesting, because when you're forced to sacrifice one characteristic for another it tells more about what you're *really* looking for. Not that looks, personality & smarts are the only factors involved in attraction, of course...at least for me, there are a lot of intangibles.

Exactly... There are a great deal of women that are easily over 100% based upon this scale. But they aren't going to just pop up and wave and offer themselves to you. You have to work to find them, and then take out your pokéball and hit her over the head with it over and over again until she's out cold. Then you just have to shove her in it.
