Ok ive been seeing this girl for a month now but over the last week or so it seemed like she was avoiding me whenever I called she had excuses, and defintily acting wierd toward me, anyway today on msn I was just talking to her about random shit then all of a sudden she says I think we need to take a break, I was just like ya ok at first cause I didint know what to say, now im trying to call her and she wont answer, either she doesnt have her phone or is just avoiding me. I dont really want to break up with her but it seems to me "take a break" is just a way to soften it when its really "we're done". I'm so depressed right now, atleast I can say now that Ive had a girlfriend because its the first one ive ever had and im 18.

So what do you think about this situation?

Hah, that's kind of exactly what happened to me when I was 14. She ended up cheating on me and then getting angry at me for being too.. what was it she said.. boring?

Basically she got tired of dating assholes so she found me and liked me for a bit then got bored and cheated on me with some more assholes. I was pretty fucking pissed off. It happens.

Not saying this is her deal too, but it's likely, so brace yourself, just in case. We've all been there.

i can sorta relate. i went out with a girl for almost two months, and she was like my first "real" one cause the other two were just stupid 2 week things. and for the last week she really was acting funny and i could feel it coming and when she said to "take a break to find herself" i knew she didnt care anymore. so it wasnt a suprise it came. but let me tell you, i never stopped thinking about it, and we talked for what, 3 months afterwards then something happened and we didnt talk for like 4 months, and in the last month we've been talking a lot, and when i asked her out again she said "lets have a raincheck on that" and so we just kept talking cause i figured she'd wait like a week so we could start goign out on the same date as last year, but when that rolled around and passed i was just patiently waiting. well in this last week we've barely talked to each other and friday she went bowling with some other guy "stuff happened" of which i dont know. but her myspace was changed to "in a relationship" and there was a comment along the lines of "are u going out now with josh cause thatd be so cute" and now i'm like really pissed cause i've never stopped loving her since new years when i was drunk and was the first one to say it. but now its like the 2nd time she's just killed my heart and all i want to do is stab her in the heart with something rusty to ask her how it feels. i'll miss it for a week and then i'll prolly be over her even tho it took 8, 9 months from the original break up. but i'm at that point now i can call her a bitch and not care. that bitch .

but as for what i think about the situation and with the thread somewhere in s&a about going back to your ex, you should be fine. go hang out with some buddies and have fun
