It really depends on the girl; for some it's much easier to reach orgasm.

that is precisely what it does. it's not exactly the most pleasant feeling but it does work, at least for me

This is an issue for many guys. Don't feel bad, it's not just because you're a n00b. It seems as though only men who have LOTS of sex (frequently) do not have issues with stamina.

I've never used the condoms you're describing with my husband, so I cannot give an opinion. What we have tried is cock rings (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cock_ring). They work wonderfully, and without the use of chemicals (like the condoms do).

If that's just too scary for you at this point in time, you're going to have to learn to control what you're thinking about. Take your focus off the sex. I know that sounds crazy, but I've heard it too many times from men in the past to discount it as a legitimate means of prolonging the erection.
