It's funny how things have a way of just sorting themselves out. But my new found freedom has created previously unforseen complications.

The girl who I am hopelessly in love with (and who unfortunately is my best friend) is currently on a ship to Norway. When she gets back I intend to make a move on her, but I'm not sure how to approach this with her. The most we've done is french-kissed after too many drinks, and she has told me numerous times that she doesn't like being in relationships.

Today in college I found out that two girls have their eyes on me, my college is on the other side of the firth of forth from me. And I'm going to a party where they will all be. I'm not quite sure what to say if either of them make any advances on me, when I don't even have a girlfriend or any reasonable excuse not to pull them.

My life is like a badly written soap-opera, except with less gangsters and more boredom.
