Well, basically I'm looking for some useful insight on what may have gone wrong here.

There's a girl I've known since school started, through the fact that she takes Spanish I with me, through ITV, so we come into some sort of contact about every day. (For those who don't know, it's basically classrooms on webcam.) Anyhow, about 3 weeks ago, I got her e-mail address. We started chatting quite a bit, and things went well. During the last week or so, things started to heat up a bit. We started calling eachother reguarly. We were both openly flirting with eachother, and she made several comments to me that I don't think she would have made if she WASN'T interested. We decided we'd meet up that weekend and "hang out." (She lives about 30 miles away) Anyhow, the original plan was for me to bring a freind, and her to bring a freind, so it'd be more than just the two of us. It ended up being just me, her, and her freind however. I dressed fairly casual, but still bothered to "clean up" a bit before I left... You know, like anyone would if they were going out on the town for an evening.

Anyhow, the whole night, we talked a little, and I THOUGHT it went fairly well. She kept sneaking "looks", and I was pretty sure she was still interested.

So, the next day, we aren't able to talk, since we're both at work. The day after, I finally get ahold of her. We make some small talk, but she doesn't seem as engaged in the conversation as before. After awhile, I just asked her what she thought of me. She said she thought I was neat as a freind, but really wasn't interested in me as anything more than that (even though she had made some comments to the contrary just days before). On top of this, she suddenly has a "relationship" with someone and isn't interested in dating anyone new anymore. I'm also getting the vibe that she doesn't really want to get together again like we did Friday night.



Can anyone make heads or tails of this? :S Did I fuck up somewhere along the line and not realize it, or what? Is there any chance of getting her at all interested again, or did I blow it? Honestly, I feel like she just led me on, but I don't see why she dropped me so suddenly like that. I thought we got along pretty well, and I can't think of anything I said or did that would have offended her.

Well if that was the first time you guys went out, she probably feels weird and something bad probably happened. Probably a no-go for this girl.

I'm trying to figure out why she suddenly "feels weird", though. I didn't try coming onto her that night, as her freind was there (aside from a quick hug when I left)... And besides that, why she was hitting on me so much if shesupposedly wasn't interested from the get go?

Just didnt click, I guess... unlucky.

Maybe she got a better offer.

Maybe it just felt weird. It can feel odd meeting someone from t'internet.
