-Don't use TAG/AXE...it's kinda lame from what I've heard girls say to my friends that wear it.

Also, Old Spice is a very potent smell that some ladies like, and don't get the "old man after shave" kind of old spice.

I absolutely HATE to say it but for a High School age guy Fierce (by Abercrombie & Fitch) does quite well.

I do wear it on occasion and it has quite positive results. Like really positive

If you're 16 you don't want to smell manly, you just don't want to smell like a gym bag/Axe/Tag. I've gone through many colognes. Here are a few that would be good for you, since you're in high school. Make a list and go to your local Dillards or Saks or whatever department store you have and ask to sample them. Remember that they'll smell different on your skin than on a piece of paper (due to oils, pH level of skin, body heat, and so on), so if you really want to take the time to find the perfect cologne then you'll sample them on your skin. If they just spray it on a card, then smell one or two, walk around for a while, then come back and smell a couple more. Don't smell 10 all at once or something, because you'll lose sensitivity. For $60 you can get pretty much any cologne you want that isn't ridiculously overpriced. Anyway, here's my picks:

Nautica (in the blue bottle; it's a nice daily scent, works well for casual wear)

Jaguar "Performance" (smells good, lasts a long time, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it)

Victoria's Secret "Very Sexy 2" For him

Banana Republic "M" (smells citrusy, kinda like oranges, a little spicy, very good daily cologne, little more pricey than the others, about $55 for 3.4oz)

These are more feminine scents, but I think will still work:

Clinique "Be Happy" for men

Clinique "Chemistry" for men (Order these off the clinique homepage, because it's the cheapest price anywhere. I've looked. These are both good colognes, great for going out because you'll smell clean.)

Always remember not to spray too much. A bottle should last you a year. Most of mine last me 2+ years. Best of luck to you.

Chrome, its one of my favorites, you can get it at Dilliards for sure i know.

Who did the the DIY pheromones a few months ago?

The pherlure(pheromone cologne) is dank in my opinion and my friends have proof that it is good...

it smells similar to that of hollister's cologne..which is good also...pherlure is like $35 for a bottle of their site i just bought me one..and i gave some to my friend recently and like all the girls that was at this bday dinner with him at his table were asking what fragarance he had on lol...it was good haha. too bad i wasnt there to see that.. My other buddy wearing it got hugs from girls and comments saying he smells good upon wearing it.

Paco Rabanne Eau is what I wear, ladies seem to like it.

Gio by Armani is pretty good

I've used a few different type of colognes over the years, and some work better than others depending on the conditions.

Axe is great for practical, less social (with chicks, anyway) situations. It's perfect for just coavering up your funk for a few hours after working out if you're gonna be chillin with buds. I also use it all the time after I blaze, and it's great at covering that smell too.

Every girl I've ever known has loved the scent of Very Sexy for him. They love everything else from Victoria's Secret, why not this too? I can't even recall half the compliments I've gotten about how good I smelled when I wore that stuff.

I've worn CK1 for a little while now, and I've gotten nothing but positive feedback. I wear CK1 less often, though. So, for assured success, I'd suggest Very Sexy.

sean john's unforgivable smells really good, it might explain why its one of the top selling scents. DONT jus buy scents you hear are good, buy a scent that will go with your body chemistry.
