Default Getting back together with old GF

I broke up with my Girlfriend about a year ago because we weren't getting along very well. Supposedly she has changed into a completely different person though. Any ideas on getting back together with her?

If she makes you happy, yes and also if you feel there is potential in the relationship go for it . I'm in the best relationship ever and I think its pretty similar circumstances

Don't rush into it...I had a similar thing happen. The illusion of her being changed was only temporary. She came crawling back, apologising and being charming, then once she had me she reverted to her old ways

Just keep it steady until you know what you're getting into.

Supposedly?

Then the first step is getting to know her again.

What makes you think the troubles will have disappeared?

As they have stated, and I'm a firm believer of people dont' really change, they just hide who they are a bit better.

In a relationship the same demons are going to resurface. If she's controlling, jealous, or bitchy... it's going to come back out. It's ingrained into their personality, nothing short of a lobotomy is going to fix it.

Thus, I don't go back out with a girl after a break up. I tell them that from the begining, and when they break up with me then come crawling back it's just like "This clearly won't work, you just can't find anything better now."
