Should I or shant I? (longish)
Me and this girl have a bit of history, enough for it to make both of us think something is still there but right now when we see each other we kiss and if given the right situation things could develop into more (sexually).
I'm going off to the army in 3 months and when she heard she was disappointed, which led me to think maybe she wants a proper relationship but my feelings as of late were towards my own needs and the army came first.
I saw her tonight, first time in about 3 weeks and I thought nothing of it, good to see her but nothing special. When she left I started to think about her and before I knew it i was fixated with her for a good ten minutes and in full knowledge that I wouldn't be able to sleep because of her. I really miss her and its a surprise.
Now shes moving to Australia in June, to live with her dad who left when she was 2, my question is this; should I confess to her how much i miss her, or will this fuck everything up? Seeing as how a relationship will only end in both of us not wanting to but having to face the fact we'd have to split up for good.

Fuck, I cannot stress this enough.
DON'T WAIT IF YOU BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU FEEL!
Goddammit! Why do people always have to second guess their real feelings?
Take advantage of the time you have, rather then sitting around waiting until you will never see her again. Sure, you may only be together for 3 months, but at least you will have had that time.

But I'm afraid of how much I'll want to stay with her. It's totally against my character to even give a shit about someone let alone be afraid of how much i may miss them. I'm not saying I love her but since I've never let anyone close enough to me to become a problem, not even my parents, I don't know how I'll react when the time comes.

Go for it, you have an opportunity to happy for a good three months, I wouldn't pass up happiness for anything, considering how hard it can be to find.

Confess.
Either way, get the FUCK out of the Army. Even if it's too late to do it legally or whatever, I'd run if I were you.

Yeap, I think what everyones been saying before me is the best way to look at it. Go for it, enjoy what time you have together. If it only lasts the 3 months, then so be it.
Your forgetting the fact that this is the first person you've cared about. You may as well see what it's like being with them.
Don't let yourself wonder.

Whimp. Man up a bit,please..for her sake.
Like everyone else has said, go with your heart and if its love then whats stopping you from going there too?
You married? Got Kids? Got elderly parents to look after? Half way through a college course?
NO?
Then ain't nothing to stop you going is there?

I was saying more on her behalf, I realised when i typed it that it may come across as that.
I have got a 4 year commitment to the army though, and since shes moving somewhere in the first two this will most probably be the last time I see her for good.
But thanks to everyone who gave advice, I'll tell her today.
