So there was a girl. She met my best friend who hangs out with me pretty much everyday. Naturally, this girl is going to meet me sometime. She meets me 3 days after she met my friend. Anywho, this girl is beautiful. Completly stunning. She ends up making out with my friend and giving him his first kiss. I congradulated him.

He ended up asking her out. She said no and claimed she just wanted to be friends with him. Little did I know, she had her eye on me.

So as it stands now in the story, my best friend likes her, made out with her and then got shut down. I also liked her from the day I met her. (About 3 days after he met her)

Well, the three of us went up to my best friends cabin for the weekend to go dirtbiking.

I tried my best to avoid the fact that I WANTED HER. It started out just simply liking her a bit because she was hot.I was feeling a little down because my girlfriend at the time would rather hang out with her friends and get drunk. The girl who we were with was actually listening to me and saying that my girlfriend at the time was crazy and how she was so lucky to have me. She ovbiously liked me. (I didn't realize it at the time)

This is how I lost my best friend. I'm a crazy, yet stupid son-of-a-bitch. On the ride home in the truck we stopped and got out and I assured him that I wouldn't go out with this girl. A few phone conversations with this girl later, I realized that this was the chick for me. She loves to go riding, can spit, and is one of the hottest chicks in school. I waited a few more days and then I started thinking that he got shut down and had no other chance with her, so it was my turn.

I asked her out. She said yes. I told my friend the nexty day and he was in a great mood but then became deeply disturbed when I told him. I spoke to him later and he was damn angry. He said he felt like I stabbed him in the back. I realized I fucked up thinking that it was fair game to ask her out because he got shut down.

Last thursday was me and my girlfriends one month anniversary and also the one month anniversary of him not talking to me. I never thought that he wouldn't talk to me for this long. My other friends who hang out with him (we have the same group of friends) said he was really pissed off and would randomly yell stuff like "Fuck LeRoy! That Fucking Homo!"

I did something extremely stupid and lost a best friend. I hope no one reading this will ever make this mistake. We were friends for two years. Hanging out everyday.

Not only did I lose my best friends but I lost touch with the whole group. The other 4 guys in our group hang out with brian more because I'm always with my girl. Individually or all 4 together without brian I can talk to them and have no problem whatsoever but when brian comes, I get a bad vibe from everyone.

Please for the love of god don't make the same mistake I did.

Sounds like he needs to deal with the fact that she likes YOU and not HIM. I don't see why he feels so hurt over it.

Friends stick to the end, true friends, that is. You should have waited a few weeks or so, after he got shut down, pal. To show you were considerate..because that was selfish, is how your ex best friend sees it. Anywho, if he really was your best friend, it hurt him and he is jealous yes, but if you truly thought much of him, you'd consider how he'd feel if you two became an item.. .

One of life's lessons, settle it smoothly next time, there may be a chance at getting back your friend.
