Default Not hetero?/Not bi?/Not gay?

Is it possible for a person to be born showing no sexual attraction towards either gender? If so what would this be called?

I believe the term is "asexual".

it's entirely possible, and it's called asexuality. (no, not asexual reproduction)

Are we sexually attracted towards anyone when we're born? I mean...sure, we're hungry...but still....

A-sexuality couldn't apply to humans because we cannot produce on our own. So I think that asexual would probably be the wrong term. I'm talking about perhaps maybe a biological/mental disorder where someone would show no attraction towards either sex.

Does anyone know if there are any cases where this has taken place?

Yeah, I've heard of it once before it seems, in a conversation with friends.

I don't remember the term right off, it was a while back. I'll look it up and see if anything rings a bell and edit the post with the answer(if I find it).

Edit: Damnit, all I'm getting is abunch of "Asexuality" pages...sorry. I feel confident that there's a word other than that for it, I'm too busy to look though. If you find out, do tell!

I can think of low libido, right off. rofl. That's not what we're looking for though.

For the first time 'sexual' in a word sounds bad.
