Default So I have a new friend...

Well I finally got a coffee date with that chick that I met at the movie theater. The other night I was rolling (on ecstasy) for the first time in months, so I got all emotional and sent her a text message (at 2 am on a Monday morning): "I know this is coming completely out of nowhere, but I really want to know what you think of me."

She responded with: "What do you mean?"

I wrote back: "I meant that I want to see you!"

etc etc... She then agreed to meet me at Starbucks at 10:30 this morning.

I met her there. We had a good time. Decent conversation. We found out that we actually briefly worked together at McDonald's over 2 years ago and had some mutual friends.

At the end though, she got straight to the point, and told me that she wasn't looking for anything serious. She told me that she was initially attracted to me, but it was a mistake to lead me on, as she isn't ready for this right now. She apologized as well.

It could be a load of bullshit, but I believe it. She's a really busy girl, very concerned with her career, hobbies and other life goals.

I appreciate her honesty and straight forwardness. It's a nice break from the cock teasing bitches I'm used to encountering.

We left on relatively good terms. She wants to get together again for coffee sometime, and to remain friends. But I don't know if I can do that.

Oh well. At least she got straight to the point and didn't avoid me entirely or lead me on. I admire that.

She was pretty fucking cute. Nice blue eyes. 20 year old virgin. Nice body. She mentioned that she enjoyed dancing as a hobby (Hot) and something about massage therapy in the near future (Extremely hot).

Oh well. I guess this thread is pointless. I'm kinda buzzed. I'm getting used to this whole rejection thing. It only becomes easier through repetition.

Aside from that, my life has been pretty great. I moved out on my own, and have some bright plans for the future.

I'm a bit down, and my ego has taken a bit of a blow, but other than that, I'm taking things surprisingly well.

This thread is dedicated to the girls who can be up front. Don't lead guys on. Don't just avoid them. Get straight to the point. It really softens the blow.

Sure you can. It's not as if you fell in love, dated for a long time, then broke up. Well, even then...sometimes you can be friends.

But I wanna stick it in her tight virgi...

Seriously though... Yeah, I should be able to be friends with her. I have some female friends, but it's just weird.

Because if they're attractive, then I want to fuck them. It just makes it all weird.

I can't be around attractive females without being flirtatious.

Yeah but it's obviously only a one-way power game. Equal flirtation should result in sexual activities in the end, otherwise, someone is holding out.

If you have an ongoing flirtatious relationship with a friend, then that means that either you want to fuck them or they want to fuck you (in most cases)

Umm.. if you send signals that you are interested in someone and you aren't, then you are being dishonest. This is becoming a common trend.

So I agree with your question... What is this world coming to?

Hopefully you (nor Kate) are at that extent, but that is just an example of what can happen if you don't take other people's feelings serious enough.

Do I need to say it again?

TEASING is DIFFERENT then FLIRTING.

And you're one to talk, taking other peoples feelings into account HA, don't pull that crap.

It's funny, because in a room full of guys the other day, I was actually the only one supporting the argument that it is possible to have female friends...

Then again, sometimes I just argue for the sake of arguing. I'll admit I spend a lot of time up on the fence.

Either way though, I couldn't convince any of them that it is possible to have a mutual friendship between two members of the opposite sex.

There is ALWAYS attraction. From one side or the other. I found no way to refute that.

Lol @ your assumptions.

I go out of my way to avoid my hot female friends. Most of my friends can't seem to comprehend why, but I honestly see hanging out with a sexually attractive female with whom I don't plan on having intercourse a complete waste of time.

There are much better things out there than getting blue balls. As females though, I don't expect either of you to understand.

So, you're saying, you can't keep or have or see female friends, because they make you horny if they're attractive?

Wow, you really are a pig, do you seriously ONLY EVER think about your cock?

So, in saying that - even if a girl doesn't flirt with you, if she's attractive, she's a tease because she's you're friend?

I think this is yet again another case of this being your fucked up problem, not the females.

You just can't accept the fact that attraction does not need to go any further than that. That is probably why you have so many "problems". You create something out of nothing.

So, in saying that - even if a girl doesn't flirt with you, if she's attractive, she's a tease because she's you're friend?

Correct. If a girl is attractive, then in most circumstances, I would rather not be friends with her. Especially so if she is a flirt on top of that.

If she can be cool, and isn't always trying to get attention, then maybe things can work out. I remember this one girl who I was really good friends with because she wasn't always trying to flaunt her looks or flirt too much, despite the fact that she was absolutely gorgeous. Then there's my female friend who's boyfriend (who I was good friends with) died, so I now consider her off limits no matter what. I consider her to be one of my best friends (in general, not just female), despite the fact that I was once physically attracted to her.

So there you have it. In some cases, I can be friends with an attractive girl.

But in most cases, attractive girls suck because they have such catastrophically enormous egos.

same thing happened to me, kind of. went out with a guy several times. on the third date (i call it a date because he picked me up, initiated it, and paid for everything) he told me that he thought i was a great girl, really smart and attractive (yeah right, pshhh), but that he couldn't see a relationship with me but that he wanted to still hang out. it was interesting, because i hadn't indicated that i wanted a relationship. i had been kind of confused because he'd paid for everything despite my offers to share costs, but he hadn't made any physical advances. i think it was an issue of compatibility. we did end up going out again (at his suggestion), but this time i paid my way. it was hard to swallow the news (strange, because i had no notion of being his "girlfriend") but i ended up being very happy that he was up front, and respecting him more for it.

It's probably in their best interests that they never go near you anyway.

Hunny, seriously.. You're making assumptions too! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You can dish it out, but not take it yourself?

CarbonB? Wow, you really have NO IDEA of the people that talk to me everyday, and for some reason continue to do so. It's comes back down to that 'friends' thing.

She, I can retain my friends.. you on the otherhand can't.

I have hot friends, ugly friends, fat friends, skinny friends, male friends, girl friends. I don't go ga ga of the hot male friends and don't see them because they're attactive. I don't get wet everytime that one makes a sexual remark - I'm not stupid enough to take it seriously.

You need to chill the fuck out and STOP taking anything that a female says, does, and acts towards you so seriously. It's like you analysis every small thing a women does! Hell you even disregard a women based on her looks which she utimately can't control.

No, I will not. I stand by my opinion when I say that I am against harmful teasery. When the person is merely looking for attention and chooses to toy with another persons' emotions just to test that, then they are evil in my books.

Oh, and it's the original thread topic that determines what forum it belongs in, not the posts that follow...

For someone who spends so much fucking time on here you should know that.

Wrong. If a thread goes sour, and thus becomes a flame topic, it then gets moves.

Maybe the annoying fucks who take it down hill should be sent to the corresponding forum.

You're basically saying that if you post a serious topic, and I choose to flame the fuck out of you, then it will be moved because of my actions....

Yes and my arguement was that flirting and teasing are very different things.

You didn't even address that, except brushed it off and ignored it.

I never tease OR flirt with any girl I wouldn't fuck or date. It's a pretty straightforward rule to live by.

Pretty much falls under the golden rule: Treat others as you would have them treat you.

But they OBVIOUSLY aren't the same, or even that close.

Flirting is ALMOST ALWAYS a two-way, enjoyable event. It's something two people do to enjoy each other without even needing to touch.

Teasing, though, usually is used to mean a single person toying with the other person. It can also, when and if you ever actually get a good girl in bed, mean sexually toying with your partner.

EDiT: Maybe, though, if you knew the difference... :\

Ah, but remember you take things too seriously.

I also think it could come down to the fact that you have difficulty being friends with women, because generally the contact you have with women is sexual - or the reasons behind your contact with women is sexually driven.

Therefore, when an attractive women wants to be only friends with you, you spit the dummy?

I have a lot of male friends, both online and in person.

You can ask any that are on totse, if I've flirted with them before, and the answer would most likely be yes.

But they know that that's my personality, and nothing more - if they start getting too serious about it, I let them know whats up (but this has only happened once or twice).

People define it more deeply then others. I think although that it's just a chit chatty conversation that often compliments and pokes fun at things said - some sexual, some not.

Teasing on the other hand is rather more straight to the point -

"So what are you doing under the table?"

"Resting my hands "

"Oh and where would that be?"

"Somewhere that feels good "

What if you pull out a syringe while dancing and inject the girl with poison? Is that flirting still, or have we gone into teasing?

You're the one who resorted to Ad Hominem to begin with. You made allegations that I am of little to no experience in the field of sex/affection in comparison to you.

So, you post your threads for shits and giggles? Are you a troll, if so shall I get that tended to?

Your views on women are constantly changing? Thats because they seem to change to suit the new women of the week.

Negativity? My first post was not negative.

You said that I was a tease, and so I told you that I think there is a difference between teasing and flirting.

It's not my problem you are hot and cold with women all the time. If they don't suit your needs at the time, we get women bashing threads. You want a relationship, you don't want a relationship. The girls a bitch for not wanting you, you can't understand why girls keep walking away... You're all over the place.

Each encounter is also posted with what drug of choice you had the night, as though that determines your mood or something.. Maybe you wouldn't be so god damn confused about women if you stopped going out looking for them/chatting them up when you're under the influence of drugs.

That's the thing... I haven't gone out looking for a girl in years. They come to me.

I try to mind my own business. What am I supposed to do? Wear some kind of woman repellent?

This has nothing to do with my drug use.

And the fact that my moods and opinions change... How the hell is that anything but normal human behavior?

Maybe moreso to a certain extent when it comes to myself, but I am diagnosed as being Bipolar (among other things) by more than one doctor.

I don't usually like to bring that up, but I think it really brings something to the table here.

Your moods and opinions about women are far more erractic then most people.

The mental illness shit doesn't fly with me, I don't think it plays a major part in this.

Also, someone with mental illness, doing the amount of drugs you do? I'm not going to go deeply into this because it's not that point of the thread but maybe you should think about some things relating to this.

Maybe instead of looking at women when they approach you as a possible fuck/relationship, just talk to them like a friend, like you aren't interested in anything else.. try to stop thinking with your cock?

Here we go with the assumptions again...

I mentioned in that thread how much I liked her. The sex just came hand in hand with it all. I still wanted to move in with her and be there for her after we had sex.

I actually cared (and still do) about her. In fact I feel obligated to defend her whenever people insult her such as you just did... I'm not about to go on some long rant, but you really don't know anything about her and therefor have no right to judge her.

In some of those cases, there is a correlation between physical attractiveness and general appeal. One of the first things I look for in a girl is her looks. I don't really give a fuck if that makes me shallow, since there's nothing I can do to change that. If she's attractive, then she has pretty high chances of being potential girlfriend material in my eyes.

And in the other cases, I am referring to straight up cock-teases that will do things like rub their ass against your crotch or eve straight up tell you that they will fuck you one day. The down-right evil ones.

I avoid the first type because I don't like having my heartbroken repeatedly. I avoid the second type because they just leave me with a bad case of blue-balls.

Also, there's a power issue at hand there, but I'd rather not get into that right now, as it would begin to stray off topic.

The cock-teasing ones you talk about, I don't like them much either - that's why when you said I was a tease I was slightly offended because when I tease I eventally follow through.

I do think the power thing is an issue here though.. a lot of guys hate the power that women can have over them sexually.. some think it's weak of them to be so easily whipped.

Thank you Lauren. I really do think that they are attacking unprovoked just because they both have some kind of vendetta against me in common.

They even stray constantly from the original point, such as blaming me for the way I feel (which I can't help), and other unfair irrelevant allegations.

My opinions aren't that outta wack, whereas yours are rather on the piggish end of the scale. You should know by now that if there's a thread bashing women, then I'm likely to pop up in there somewhere and battle it out to the bitter end.

I still think the issues you're having with women are a lot to do with your rather strict guidelines/morals you expect them to have, whereas you become a hypocrit when it comes to you.

Yeah I will admit that in some ways I may be a hypocrite.

The thing that I find kind of ironic though is that this was one of my first threads actually glorifying female behavior (or at least that of some), but it turned into another female-bashing thread.

Like I've said before, I have some female friends. In fact, one of my best friends is female. We actually get into arguments like this in real life, and I can be very stubborn.

But in the end, I always realize that hating on any particular type of person (whether by race, gender, or age), I am being prejudice and unfair, and it really is pointless.

I don't really know where I'm going with this... Honestly I'm starting to feel pretty drunk at this point (my roommate's passed out, so I'm stuck finishing off the last of the beers).

Anyway, if you're just doing it as a matter of principle (defending women in general), then just please don't turn it into a personal flame-fest.

I'm doing it because your opinions are very different to mine.. plus I'm trying to give you a reality check. I speak as a women talking to a (confused) man, not kate to gadzooks. The fact that I don't hold you in high esteem, I've tried to keep down (except eariler when the personal attacks start flying).

I did answer to your orginal post, concerning the flirting/teasing thing.. and it sorta built up from there - both of us are to blame on that part.

You're right. I should not have just gone straight out and called you a tease like that. I just figured from what you said that you were like every other fickle female I've encountered who will act interested and then suddenly withdraw for no reason, and in some cases even REPEAT the same behavior in an often never-ending cycle.

Harmless flirting, the way you put it, I supposed really is harmless. As long as you aren't aware of the other person having feelings for you and yet you still persist with suggestive behavior.

As soon as I realise that they do, they're told. I hate leading people on, because I know only too well what it feels like.

I'm just very flirty in general.. with females too.

I never tease OR flirt with any girl I wouldn't fuck or date. It's a pretty straightforward rule to live by.

I got a little down page 2 of this thread and got bored, so if I missed anything important, sue me.

I flirt with girls all the time, including female friends, old women... loads of females. Doesnt mean in the slightest that I want to fuck all of them, in fact most of the girls I flirt with, I wouldn't even consider it.

Attractive female friends I flirt with, I probably would fuck most of them if it happened naturally... but Im not expecting anything to happen, it doesnt make me act any differently and I still feel completely comfortable hanging around with them.

Female friends are handy, like little spies. Ive avoided embaressment a few times because of them.

Umm, I wouldn't have fucked her anyway because he was a really good friend. Whether they broke up or he died, I would never have looked at her the same. You are a fucked up bitch for even trying to use that against me.

Go fuck carbonb. Oh wait, here's a gif: http://www.sickopath.com/fatfuck.gif

Looks like you already did.

Lol, someone sounds a bit jealous. I am sorry that you have a hard time keeping an erection due to so much crack use. So please keep my name out of your mouth when you are thinking about your lackluster sex life.

Oh, and if you are trying to compare sex partners, I don't think you want to question mine. When the last person you fucked was a homeless crack addict named Shenikwa.

It's a shame she played you along in the first place, zooks.

Anyhew she's said this shite about how she's 'not looking for a relationship right now' blablabla, I bet you you'll see her walking down the street in a few weeks time holding hands with some bloke. As is the way of women.

Lapsing back into incoherency now.

It's kinda funny that you mention that, because everywhere I went today, every couple I saw, I considered that to be a possibility.

I hang out with my friends who are girls for the same reason I hang out with my friends who are guys. I just like them. It isn't a hard concept.
