hey, my girlfriend has been a crazy bitch over the past two weeks, and at first it was understandable, but now shes fighting with all my best friends and me constantly about everything. and i would really like to jsut not have her around for a while so she can mabye relax. anyways, should i offer to buy the things she bought for me for christmas? or just break it off clean and now? ive never broken up with someone before cause i never wanted a girlfriend for exactly this kind of situation.

i know this isnt very much info and probly hard to read and understand, but what do you all think?

How long have you been together? Two weeks of bitchiness, especially around the holidays, isnt exactly a deal breaker if you've been together for a year or so. Things change. It isn't your fault if you feel differently, and she will eventually get over it. If one person isn't happy, neither will be.

There isn't really a nice way to go about it, this will be painful for you and her but you need to tell her how you're feeling. You should be understanding how each other feels, know why she's like this etc. The thing is you really need to talk to her about it and then determine things from there.

If worse comes to worse, just explain to her that things are working and why they aren't.

2 months + I want to be with you forever = red flag

Be wary of any girl in the future that makes that mistake.

And breaking up with someone sucks, hard. But you just have to do it. Be a man and take her somewhere to talk. Tell her exactly why, and dont buy into any of her bullshit about changing and making things work.

And the most important thing, cut off all contact with her for a few weeks afterwards. A breakup is only as good as your ability to enforce it.
