They caught me wasted. They caught me smoking weed. They caught me doing a bunch of dumb shit. And I haven't been out of the house, aside from school and sports in months. I ask to hang out with my friends, and they say, "have them come over here".

I know they're doing it because they love me, and I love them for it, but I really feel like shit.

I don't even care about drugs any more. No drug is worth my family and friends, and my freedom. Has anybody else been in this situation?

I was thinking maybe asking them to randomly drug test me.

I think you should tell them what you have just posted. I have been in a situation like yours but I still use and really hasnt affected my relationship with my parents. If you really are going to stop tell them how you feel. You made a mistake and learned from it, its not like you're the only one who has ever taken drugs. Having a social life is important, and if you're serious about stopping then they shouldnt worry.

Lost my parents trust around that age too. Just act responsible till you are 16 and when you get a car you should be given more freedoms, just do not fuck up untill then man.

Yeah i'm going through something similar right now, except i wish i didn't have to quit all drugs. I've just fucked up too many times.

As for how to regain their trust, just cut everything off. Eventualy things will go back to normal, and if you want you can pick up some of your old habits and try to be more careful. Also, be open with them about the whole thing. Just be sure not to preach to them too much about how you're done with drugs and whatnot. It can just end up making them more suspicious.

You will be. Anybody who does drugs will eventually get caught. You're tempting fate, and eventually fate will will bite back, i did drugs for years before i got caught, and i used to think the same thing. Its bullshit to think you are invincible at your age. Sooner or later your luck will run out.

OP: If what you say is true, then you need to sit down and have a discussion with your parents where you can express these feelings. They will be proud of you for coming to the realization that your drug use isnt worth losing your friends and family. Whether or not they do anything just depends on them. But eventually they will let up. How long has it been since you got caught?

My kids are your age and they fuck up all the time. Its part of growing up. Never saw the point in 'grounding'. I just tell them what absolute idiots they were and hope they realise that Daddy might just be right.

Anyway, this is how to bring your parents around. Yes it is a bit sneaky but it works and it is for their own good.

Stop having friends round,never leave your room ,except to piss etc. If they say why aren't you going to this or that event tell them 'I'm sacred i'll fuck up if i leave the house'.

Act agrophobic.

Within a few days they'll be damn near pushing you out the door.
