Well, I noticed that my thread was closed because it basically turned into a drug-based argument rather than an SA related argument...

Honestly, I haven't had a chance yet to read the whole thing. I've been extremely busy lately.. I'm in the process of moving right now, so I have very little internet access time.

As far as that chick from the movie theater goes, she actually texted me back the next day asking me out on a coffee date. I tried to play it cool by waiting a bit before responding (even though deep down inside I was jumping with joy).

Although, low and behold, she STILL hasn't responded...

So I tried calling her (like 5 days later... that isn't needy, is it?)

No answer... let's see if she calls back.

God I fucking hate this bullshit. I'm already drunk and it's only like 5 pm and I'm about to get even drunker...

I'll update this thread if that fucking chick ever calls back. Hopefully soon I will get a chance to read the old thread (I saved it all)... Like I said though, I've been extremely busy... moving, working, trying to balance all other aspects of my life... etc

Clarification: She texted me the day after I made that thread wondering why she wasn't calling me back. Then the next day, I got a text from her asking me out to coffee sometime (although she didn't say when). I texted her back about an hour later saying I would like to get together for coffee with her, but I put the ball back in her court by telling her to let me know when she's available... (bad idea?)

About 5 or so days later (today), I tried calling her, and got her voicemail. I left a message just asking her to call me back.

Still the whole waiting game... only I've gotten one step further than the last thread...

Some girls almost feel like they have to give their numbers out to guys they talk to.. often that's why would won't get a reply. I'm not saying it's right of them to do it - I just know that one of my very attractive friends gets hit on a lot that sometimes she almost gives in, and gives them her number. I think she just doesn't like to be rude, she talks to them out of politeness and why not? Doesn't hurt for her to have a random catch with a stranger now and then, but the guy ALWAYS wants to carry it on, get her number and sometimes that's just not what she wants.

If she 'didnt want to be rude' and basically didnt want anything from 'zooks but was trying to be nice, she could have lied, or said she didnt want to give it to him, or you know, not fucking hold his fucking hand in a cinema for hours on end!!
