Keep up with the fingering until she can get at least 2 fingers in without it hurting. Do lots of foreplay. LOTS. Get her ridiculously turned on and wet before you try to finger her. It's going to be tight as hell if she'd never even put a finger in there until a month ago. Race probably isn't a big factor there.

She doesn't really need to orgasm to get any looser. She may enjoy it more and get more turned on, but it's not really a "requirement" per se.
