Jealousy. I'm horrible for being jealous.

I try not to care about things that trigger it but can't help it...or can I?

Is there anyway to control myself better? Well I do manage it quiet well without anyone much knowing but it eats me up inside at times.

And I do have green eyes

Jealousy sucks, just talk to people about it and try to push it out of your mind as quickly as you can when you experience it.

I have green eyes and am jealous, too.

I am most of the time but if you cross that huge line that pisses me off you are going to die.

I've never quite had Green Eyes. I blame trust.

I have green eyes, and I find myself having to deal with jealousy issues now and again. I've gotten a lot better as I've realized how ridiculous it is. I don't own anyone, and they're free to do whatever they want. I need to live my life and worry about me. The girls I date will either be faithful to me, or they won't. If they aren't, then it's over, and they missed out. No need to ruin a good thing when there's nothing bad going on over petty jealousy.

Well...mine are blue, with a green ring around the pupil. Most people don't notice the green, however. It's disguised very well.

I used to have huge jealousy issues, but I got over them with some effort. My eyes are green as grass as well.

I know what you mean. i just found out that my exgirlfriend that i broke up with has a new boyfriend. now i really feel that i made a mistake and sort of wish i had her back, even though in the back of my mind i know that its for the better. all you can do though is just ride it out and try to make yourself not feel that way.

Mine seem to be slowly turning a little bluer. I hope they don't... blue would be my second choice, but I do like my green.

I was going to ask you how you did it, but then I read your first post. That's a very good way to look at it... I think I'll try to think like that more.

i hate to say it, but i think a lot of jealousy stems from ego issues. not really a big ego per se, but maybe a sensitive one? that doesn't sound like it makes sense.

ok, let's see. let me try to explain this in another way.

jealousy = anger coming from thought, "i should have what he has" or comparison to others

idea of "i should have what he has" (to the point where it incites anger) is a result of "big ego," or belief that one should be somewhat above others.

i'm not trying to insult you. that's just my theory.

I have blue eyes, and I have a massive red flag issue with my girl's ex boyfriend. Yeah, I get jealous.

Sometimes jealousy stems from being hurt before, be it the current partner or a previous partner.

Also, feeling "less than" your partner too.

It's ego, but a bruised one I think.

I know exactly what you mean... i used to be heaps like that then i went and started dating another chick, and i felt all better for some reason, and just made myself really busy with friends and other chicks..

whoever said get a motorbike, i did get my bike licence and rode a couple of times, and it's so awesome, it gets your mind off it

There's not a lot you can do but try and not act upon it and not to let the situation get to you that much.
