Default Think I'm becoming one of those crazed ex-boyfriends.

Long story, short. I dated this girl for over a year and we lost our virginity to each other and we were in love and all that stuff. She would tell me all this shit about how she would alwyas love me no matter what and never forget me. Well we got in an argument 6 months ago and so I stopped talking to her for a week and that's when we broke up because I tried calling her after that but she said she no longer wanted anything to do with me.

Anyway, it's been 6 months and I'm still not over her and I don't know what to do. She is now messaging me over myspace but I doubt she wants to see me ever again or anything. I found out she had sex with another guy and everything and basically it sounds like she is over me.

In the 6 months since we broke up I lost almost 30 lbs and weighed 138 lbs at one point when i originally weighed 165. I even joined the army as an infantryman as a way of going out with some dignity instead of suicide. I figure that once I get deployed I'll either get killed or comeback as a very different man. I also tried dating other girls but that makes me just feel like I am betraying my ex.

What the fuck do I do now?

Don't ask us, man.

You need to figure out how you're going to deal with it yourself!

It sounds like you're not over it because you haven't even faced it yet.

You're over, broken up! You won't die. You'll get over it eventually.

It's just a matter of how much happiness you're going to waste before then.

Have a really hard think about how you can positively make youreslf feel better. Then, do it!

That doesn't help. Physicially I am in the best shape of my life, I exercise daily and everything for PT. But I've lost all hope in life really and I don't know what else I can do. I'm not down with taking any anti-depressants or anything either.

You're not the only one who takes breakups hard. I spiralled into a deep, deep depression after my first one. You've just gotta let yourself take the time to get over it, and busy yourself with other things, particularly friends, in the meantime.

Don't message her over myspace dude. It's over. She doesn't care, but you're hurting, so you don't need her in your life right now. You can talk to her when you're over it.

Dude, you never really get over your first real love. Trust me on this, even after 20 years there is a "Scoobi" sized hole in my soul (her nick name btw).

The pain and the ache WILL fade, and one day you will wake up next to a fantastic girl and realise you haven't thought of your first for weeks.

But until then just keep dodging the rain and bullets.

Dree your weird.

That hasn't been my experience.

U.S...

Thanks for the advice Jackketch I think I'll probably be the same way. Except that I did meet a real nice girl that I would probably be absolutely in love with if I never met my ex but it just doesn't feel right.

Your next relationship is gonna feel amazing because you'll be pulled out of all this depression stuff.

Only if you allow it to make you happy.

You have to believe in the fact that life will continue without her. It's really hard sometimes but we all have to do it at one point or another.

All you can do is hunker down and wait for the worst of it to pass.

Chuck yourself into something really, really distracting.

I've recently been through THE worst breakup of my entire life. I distracted myself by working my ass off and actually attempting to make enough money to survive.

The pain will eventually fade.. but if you're expecting to wake up one day and feel a great weight has lifted from your shoulders bla bla bla, I hate to break it to you but that aint going to happen.

As jackketch said, for the rest of your life, or atleast quite a bit of it, there's going to be a hole in your heart where that girl once was.

I've got a vandire shaped hole in my heart. I'm hoping it will kill me, but I doubt it will.

I guess joining the army is a good thing.. allthough do you really want to die just because some bitch chucked you?

I know she hurts you, but there are other girls in the world.

You'll find your coffee shop immorta some day..

Watch the episode of that 70's show where eric and donna break up.

Then realize she doesnt like you and you have NO chance with her. Stop thinking about her. Think about some other hot girl you know. Then start going out with someone else.

I don't feel a hole like that. Some sadness, sure...but not an emptiness left by him.

He is nothing more than a memory...almost...an illusion, I'd say.

I sure would like to run into him again...just to see....

wrong wrong WRONG. There's no hole in my heart for my first love anymore, and there never will be again.

Am I the only one with this magical ability?

I feel ya man. It's fucking hard to get over a girl that has such a grip on your heart. Girls think men can't be sensitive, but they can be extremely sensitive to break-ups...because we have emotions too! And when people abuse our emotions, we get really fucked up. She fucked some other dude...She's over it...Therefore, it didn't really effect her that much. She's a whore...and a liar for saying all that shit. Fuck her man. You have TOTSE.
