Pregnancy question (period related)
Okay, so me and my girlfriend had sex last night. I wore a condom. The thing is that it was dark, and I had a hard time figuring out which side of the condom was which. I finally got it on, but I can't remember if I tried to put it on the other way or not. I'm pretty sure I just checked it with my hands to see if I was right. Now, the pregnancy issue:
If I did indeed put it on wrong the second time, but switched it back and got a little precum on it, what are the chances she'll get pregnant? Her period was over exactly one week since last night. Help!

No real advice, except that Walgreens is having a sale on Huggies.

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
Fairly small, although it is likely that she is currently ovulating and hence at her most fertile.
Learnt to work out which way to roll it next time!

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
You probably have a better chance of winnning the lottery than her being pregnant.
BUT YOU NEED TO GET HER THE MORNING AFTER PILL NOW.TODAY. ASAP! No excuses, no 'i don't have enough money', no 'she can't because her parents are holier-than-thou mennonites'.
THis is one thing where even a 0.0025% risk is still too much.

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
"Pre-cum" is 30% more effective than "cum." "Cum" is only 1% effective as a whole. So, to make this simple... About 30 % of all that shit that comes out of your dick when your fucking a chick but not actually cumming has the potential to get a girl pregnant. The sperm you actually shoot out of your dick when you cum is 1% effective (out of the entire load). That's why the "pull-out" method still gets people pregnant. Sorry man. Just hope to god everythings cool.

uhh...how are you figuring that precum is 30x as effective as ejaculate? where did you even hear that?

Most clearly, Dr. youth-in-eyes is an idiot! Not that his conclusion is incorrect; it is indeed possible to contract pregnancy, as well as any STD from pre-cum, but his assertion of relative potency is rediculous.
However, I must note for the record, that he claimed precum was 30% more potent than actual ejaculate... that is 1.3 times, not 30 times.
Best advice is to follow jack's MAP suggestion. Come to think of it, jack should dedicate an entire thread to that topic. ;-)

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
whoops! read that 30% bit wrong. it made sense in my head but he meant it a different way. teach me to think i can do math.
still, that seems ridiculous to me. i fail to see how it can be accurate.

The pull-out method doesn't work because some people don't pull out on time. What you said doesn't even make sense. You say pre-cum is 30% more effective, but then you go to say that 30% of all of the 'shit' (read: pre-cum) that comes out before actual ejaculation has the possibility of impregnating a girl.
If a full load of actual ejaculate has a 1% chance of getting someone pregnant and, on average, we will say pre-cum is about 10% of the volume of ejaculate, how does that make pre-cum 30% more effective in impregnating someone? 10% of 1% = 30% more effective?
You have shitty math skills.

The full quote "There have been no large-scale studies of sperm in pre-ejaculate, but some smaller-scale studies suggest that any sperm present may be ineffectual at causing pregnancy.[1][2] This may account for the surprisingly low pregnancy rate '(approximately 4% per year) amoung couples that practice perfect use of coitus interruptus."
my italics.
Wish i could get those kinda odds on the lottery!

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
don't worry about it at all. unless she's "fertile Mertle" I think it'll be absolutely peachy 'cause there's been worse that's happened to people... i know people who just do the pull out method all the time and they've never had any trouble

Re: Pregnancy question (period related)
apparently, if everything is perfect (the right part of her cycle, you're shooting at full capacity, etc) theres like a 12% chance of pregnancy when you dont use any sexy-non-make-baby stuff. So if you didnt even come in her, I wouldnt worry. Its like worrying about her blowing you without you coming, then her kissing you, then you licking her. It just isnt a concern.

Support your statements or shut the fuck up. If you're going to post statistics, you'd better as hell say where the come from. If you state something as fact, you're gonna have to back it up or you will take shit for it.
This is a warning to everyone.
