Do you guys act irresponsibly or sometimes carelessly after a breakup? I see it a lot in friends, etc.

I've been known to do it as well in the past.

So guys, do you? And if so, what are some of the things you've done?

Never had a break-up, thank god. I'm still with my first girlfriend.

I'm probably the worst offender I know.

Hell, yes, I'd say thats when people i know do the most iresponsible things. I havent been involved in one lately but a mate of mine has, and he's normally good with booze, instead he just rocked up to my place one day, pissed off his head, later to throw up. So I'd say it effected him greatly.

(Oh and sorry about the shocking grammar/spelling, I am still half pissed from a party)

I have acted recklessly after every single breakup I've had.

My latest "event" happened in the middle of August when I lost my girlfriend of almost three years. The same night (it was on a Monday that it happened, cheap night at my favorite bar ) I got completely blitzed. So drunk than I was literally falling down. I went to 4 different bars nearby and none of them would even let me in. I went to a friend's and bought a gram or so of some good cocaine and did it in an hour. By this time it was around 4 AM. I walk (stumbled) to her apartment complex and passed out on the hood of her car, waiting for her to leave for work at around 6AM. When she came out, I told her off, told her I had fucked some random girl from the bar and that I never even cared for her. None of it was true. Even though she was my ex, I still feel guilty for hurting her like that...

I used to post more than I do now. But somethings I don't even dare tell myself.

I used to, back in high school. Following one break up (day of) I ended up getting totally hammered and going to a concert with a bunch of friends, and then made out with one of my very hot guy friends. Later on that night I found out he had a girlfriend, who really really really didn't like me, and there was lots of drama.

That's as irresponsible as I get. Usually post breakup I just drink a lot and smoke copious amounts of pot or find some benzos.

I was just wondering if people behaved the same way.
