Happy Holidays
I am reliably informed by oc6 that tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the US. So I'd like to wish all Americans here a fun and safe holiday. May the turkey be excellent, the polenta exquisite and the family fueds few.
*goes off to spit on grave of Samoset* :P

Didn't keep?
As if England had a choice?

Re: Happy Holidays
personally, i'd expect an increase in people needing advice/to rant around this time. holidays can be rather stressful for some families.

It's alright, I mean, it's not like it was going to work out. At least we're still friends with benefits, right? I mean, we still call eachother and stuff. Besides, we just...outgrew you, ya' know? We could fit like, 1000 englands into America. How is that supposed to work, eh?

Re: Happy Holidays
Happy American Thanksgiving!
Enjoy your food, company, and family.
If you're spending the holiday alone, that's alright too. There are plenty of things you can find to do, try and avoid the bottle or pipe for the day; if it's the lifestyle, it can be a strange change for the day.
Don't feel like you need to do, feel, or think anything in particular simply because it's Thanksgiving.

Re: Happy Holidays
Yayyyy!!
Thanksgiving is probably my least favorite holiday, as it's so boring, but I LOVE the food.
Only thing is, I work in retail. And that means Black Friday is going to be absolute hell.
Fucking soccer moms that have to get everything done the day after thanksgiving.

I did the retail thing for three years in a row... One year at target I had toys AND childrens clothing. I feel your pain.

Re: Happy Holidays
Ah yes, Thanksgiving. A time to celebrate family and enjoy a good meal, the main course of which is an entirely too large turkey.
The sight of a turkey sandwich will haunt our dreams a week from now.

Re: Happy Holidays
So guess who's doing all of the cooking for my family AND my husband's parents?!:P
Seriously, though, I started cooking on Tuesday, because there's so much to do. It will be a feast that is never forgotten...mark my words.

Bazzle is not a mature, let alone a woman!
I think, hun, you didn't understand the aiming of my post. Notice how the barrel always stays up-range, and away from oc6.

Re: Happy Holidays
Good luck
I baked four pies. Not being much a cook, I do the simple things and leave the rest to others.
I've never cooked a turkey. I stuffed a chicken once and it was the most disgusting thing ever! I've never done anything like that sense.

Here Black Friday is the last working friday before Christmas, where all the labourers go out for their work do and everyone fights.
Edit: Or is that black eye friday?
