Ok well its difficult to say, but unless you know the whole story, I will try to make it short.

My girlfriend and I have hit a rough patch in our relationship and she wants to take a break, so we are on a "break"

She is going to kansas to see her family and I am debating whether or not to go up there and give her a note that I have written...

She cried during the movie how to lose a guy in 10 days I think is the title at the part where the guy runs 10 blocks or something to catch a taxi that she is in to tell her something, I wasn't paying to close attention.

I think that if I go up there (from Texas to Kansas) just to give her a letter that I wrote it will show her how much I care about her..

Or will it come off as to stalky or controling etc....

She leaves monday, and so will I if you think its a good idea.

Well, something like that, if she is truly hard set on breaking up, then she won't care that you went all that way, just for a note. If you can give it to her before she leaves, and be heartfelt about it, I think she'd see how you feel.

I can, BUT.... I want to show her that I care enough to drive across the country for her....

Eesh, I don't think the tattoo helps your cause any man. But with the note, you've gotta weight out how likely it is that she'll react positively to it. That'll tell you whether or not it's worth it.

We have been through alot, and I am planning on going up there anyway just to get away, I get paid tomorrow.

I just traded it yesterday for a 2004 GT mustang convertible, so I think I will make the drive...

She doesn't know I bought it, so I am going to follow her the entire way. and when she goes into a gas station, I will go in after she does and give it to her... then when she see's that I was willing to make a 12 hour drive then it might show to her that I will do anything to be with her.

Reality overrules hollywood. If she's breaking up with you, then let it be. You can't do anything better but to give her time to think about things and sort them out.

(shes into all the Christian bull shit... she wants to get back with me... the letter basically states that I agree that we did need sometime apart etc. I will try to catch her and give it to her before... it is a bit extreme and obsessive for me to go all the way up there....
