Default few questions

When the person you loved most put you down when you tried your hardest how did you feel?

How did you react?

What was your first thoughts?

Mostly, i am wondering because i am having trouble with math in school and my boyfriend has put all his faith in me to get good grades and try my hardest. I finally tried my hardest. I study the night before, i remeber the vocab yet still got a low grade. He finds out and is really disappointed. It makes me cry and feel even more shittier ten anything in the world. I even got a math tutor that i will be seeing once a week but he doesnt seem to be pleased at all...

I love him to death and its just hard when he puts me so far down.. its hard to stand back up.

Well how exactly is he "putting you down"? We need examples to be able to tell if he's just trying to help you, or if he's actually just being a condescending prick.

today in math i got a 52 on my test. Last night i study and study untill i couldnt no more. I went in i felt good after the test untill i found out about the actually grade. I told him and he was just disappointed at all my actions. He wasnt even the littlest bit happy that i study or tryed he just kept saying oh wow. Then again he was saying well good luck next time but he knew i wasnt doing good enough for him. I want to do the best i can for him, i want to do it so bad yet sometimes i get discourage when he puts me down..

its not to often he does put me down but when he does I feel lower the low.

Maybe that's the problem, you're trying to get a good grade for HIM, and that's never good motivation. Also, take more time for the test then just one night?

Maybe try telling him that he could be a little more supportive.

It sounds like he might just not even realizing how it's affecting you. I mean, it's not like he's calling you stupid every opportunity he gets. He just might not know how to be an encouraging, supportive person in a situation like this.

I did take more then one night. I took sunday night, monday during class and monday night.

And for the other reply, he is suportive when its good grades just when its not the greatest i get this feedback which doesnt really help. Now that makes my atittude go to bad and i think "oh great, i cant do it now"

ALso that could be true maybe i am trying for the wrong thing. I need that grade. Not for him but for me. Hmm. I wonder if i am allowed to retake the test. He is a good plus for why to get a good grade. I just feel i need to do this for me not so much for him.

Best of luck. I'd suggest mentioning how you're feeling to your boyfriend. You don't have to feel that way.

i try to explain but when i do i get emotional. I mean its hard to explain in words. Its more easier to type sometimes.

I will tell him, if he calls me when he gets home from work and oh do i hope he does.

There is nothing wrong with getting emotional. Take your time if that's what it takes for you to explain yourself. You deserve to be heard and I hope that he'll be supportive and apologetic.

If he doesn't call, I suggest giving him a call.

He shouldn't be putting you down, no matter what. His 'job' is to build you up, to help you attain the grades you need.

Everyone learns in different ways. He should be helping you find the way that 'clicks' for you.

He said he was trying to bust my confidence level and stuff to help me realize i can do better. It is kinda hard to like understand. I even get confused.

I just have to get help.

He was playing with her head. Apparently, in order to help her with her confidence.

That's how I'm reading it.

You called sex "relations" in another thread. You should do this more, it made me laugh; it was very clinically grandmother-esque.

hmmm....sometimes pissing someone off enough for them to say "fuck you" can be very motivating.

Success as a "fuck you". It happens.
