a while back i posted another topic on here about some girl troubles involving my not acting soon enough. now it is almost just the opposite.

some background information that might be needed to help me is the fact that if its a hookup, as long as the girl is ok by most standards i will try and get the most i can over the course of a night/day. however, when i truly like a girl i prefer to take it much more slowly, in order to get a firm base for a relationship. unfortunatly, i have very select standards that, while not being high in some's eyes, are very particular, resulting in a small group of girls that i would consider a relationship with.

the current situation is i finally found another girl who i mesh perfectly with and this weekend i kissed her and we have since then been talking about us. unfortunatly, in one of my memorable acts of medicine-less stupidity, this afternoon whilst talking on aim i asked her if it is too soon for me to start kissing her in school. did i fuck it up? what are the ramifications of what i did, if there are any

P.S. her response was "well... idk, maybe. cuz theres kinda a lil sumthin i have 2 clear up first" later in the conversation this came out to be finishing up final details with an old boyfriend. I know her ex and he has since moved on to another girl and there is no chance for a reunion

P.P.S. i am 17 and a junior, she is almost 16 and a sophmore.

she hooked up with you without breaking up with her current boyfriend, so she cheated on him. and what makes you sure that she wouldn't cheat on you too?

and all that crap about her needing to "finish something" is pure bullshit, once you break up with someone it is over there is no "finishing" she cheated and she will do the same to you man

What the hell does "select standards" mean anyway. Do you lose interest in someone because he or she misses something "select". Ofcourse not, it's just another way of saying that you have trouble getting a girlfriend/boyfriend. Which is fine, but don't try and piss ME off on purpose with your "select standards". wink
