Default Over reacting?

So I just dumped the supposed "love of my life" because she ditched me this weekend to go to a town 2 hours away to, get this, go to her ex-boyfriend's birthday bash. Two days of endless alcohol, ecstasy and cocaine.

So, dear women of totse, enlighten me on why I am the asshole here?

How did she ditch you?

Yes, did she cheat on you is the important question here.

People ditch people all the time, and if she's the love of your life forgive her you idiot.

i would consider it fucked up. Any good gf would have let you come with or not gone at all. Did she atleast have a friend to keep an eye on her?

I don't care if she did cheat, quite frankly.

Fact of the matter is, if I ever even mentioned an ex of mine in conversation, I got the cold eye.

She ditched me in the sense she'd been telling me since last Monday that she was going away for the weekend to see friends, which was fine by me.

However, she gets the presence of mind to tell me this morning at 4:30AM (stoned out of her mind, no doubt) what she was really there for. After throwing up 10 times in an hour, I called her and told her it was over. I packed her shit up in a few boxes and dropped all of it off at her friend's house.

She never offered to let me come with her, and I don't know any of her friends where she was.

She's from that town originally and has only been here for a year or so. So I know all the ones she has here, but the ones at the other town I know nothing of.
