So, I remember a thread recently about tight foreskin, and thats when it struck me... My foreskin is really tight aswell.

I've done my research on the internet and see its quite common. I know that stretching can help, then changing masturbation methods...

BUT, Im more worried about the pyschological effects its having on me - or more my confidence. After all, How would you explain the fact that your foreskin was that tight?

I remember talking to a friend one day and he said "Does your foreskin come right back, Mine doesn't properly." -- I guess he was tryin to tell me he had this problem. (Although he was nearly 17 so a year or 2 older then myself)

So, in closing; What else do YOU recommend for this? (Not having "the snip") And, What do you think about my confidence problems regarding this? Surely if its as common as it seems, I shouldn't worry.

It's called phimosis. There are a bunch of medical procedures for it; you can get a circumcision, or a little cut that would be re-sewn to loosen it a little, it's called a preputioplasty and it leaves the foreskin intact. But there are stretching techniques, and some kind of cream can be applied to it to make the skin grow or loosen, too. Go to a doctor. If you're worried about psychological effects, you'd be able to see a counsellor, but you might as well wait until after treatment for that.

My eldest has that problem from birth on. We tried all the creams etc. When he reached puberty and got sexually active it really started to bother him so he decided that circumcision was the way to go.

I think i am right in saying that if it is chronically tight then all the wanking and stretching in the world won't help.

Basically, I think I'll try stretching, as at the moment its not the biggest problem i can think of.

BUT - I think being circumsized will always be in the back of my mind... I hope it doesnt come down to that though.

I had an operation done when I was 7, becuase it hurt to pull the skin back. Though I didn't use it until I was 11. o__O

If it's too tight, sort it out before you run into problems like my ex did..

:0 he had to get it cut, cause we ran into problems with the sex, and then it got real bad.

mine used to be tight so many years back, and it was pretty easy to fix. basically when I was sitting around on the computer or at home I'd just stretch it back and hold it there for a few minutes, painful yes, but it was fine in a few weeks.

I was curcumsized at a young age, i was about 5 so i really didnt know what havign a normal cock was like, but mines got a girth of nearly 2 inches and im 16... i think it expands more...

Foreskin has nothing to do with penile girth. It's not restrictive in the slightest... well, it's not meant to be

As I said, surgery doesn't necessarily mean a circumcision. You could end up with a perfectly normal-looking foreskin and the solution to the problem. Just depends whether or not you want to have one at the end. By the way, the people saying foreskin is icky are Americans. By British standards, circumcision is the weird non-norm, so if you'd consider either for, ah, cosmetic reasons (as well as the practical, but these things are important considerations, no?), take on board English girls' advice.

Wait until you're really turned off ie your penis is at it's smallest then try and roll it back over. Once you've done it the first time subsequent times will get easier and easier.

i know you said you don't want "the snip," but seriously, there isn't that much. like its been said above, its a common problem, but the creams and stuff don't help. surgery is pretty much your only option. so you can either get it cut and loosened, or just get a circumcision. i've heard that if you get the first surgery, it can get tight again, so i would just say to go for the circumcision. its best for the long run.

Mine was uncomfortable to pull all the way back but once i got sexually active it got easier and easier.. feels odd at first but gets better.

You're 15, you better work on pulling that back as much as you can. Just think about how much more it will hurt in a couple years when your penis is done growing.
