Have you been to Luxembourg?

I am going/living there for three months, and I know you are like...krautish, is it true they don't speak German persay, and have some unintelligble mishmash instead?

I'm supposed to be spending most of my time in the Oesling, but I hope I'll be getting to go see ze Germans, and bits of east France.

Also, apparently they don't like to be touched? I know the older generation of ze Germans don't really much appreciate the buddy buddy shit, but I only hung with the cool young kids who were pretty normal. Does that etiquette trait carry over to Luxembourg?

How do they treat their Jews? I'm thinking if its anything like Sarejavo (the experience of rock throwing slavo kids), I'll leave the mogen dovid necklace Jew badge at home.

I don't know, I just figured you or maybe some other member here might have traveled there, and if not, send this to that travel forum that noone posts in.

Sorry but I've only ever driven through it (hence its other name of 'Lunchen-burg!).

Personally I would be careful about admitting to jewishness or to being an american anywhere in Europe (tell them you are Canadian, no one can tell the difference in accents).
