This girl has shown interest in me via the internet and asked me to e-mail her back. I e-mailed her and she replied very quickly.

But I was curious about when meeting on the internet when is it appropiate to make a move? The first date or do I need to wait a bit first. I am not goin into this as if I will marry her or date her, but I do have an open mind to such things.

When you meet up, take your computers so you can chat like that. Easy.

I hope she isn't nervous, but I know she will be.

You've e-mailed a girl online, and she replied quickly. Nothing in your post suggests that from this first e-mail exchange that meeting eachother has been mentioned, and you're already saying "I am not goin into this as if I will marry her or date her, but I do have an open mind to such things."

Whoa whoa whoa, meeting a girl on the internet...why there aren't enough ladies around? ... I say meet her ( & other gals) in real life pal, and take it from there. Just be yourself, and be confident, it'll show if you are compatible material or can be friends, you wont lose anything unless you keep waiting.

The only people I've met online I've known for a few years beforehand, so I didn't find it anything to worry about.

Now, if you've just met like a week ago and still don't know anything about them... pack the mace or pack the fudge.

ROFL. I've met LOTS of girls (women) via the internet, and have never once met a weirdo....though i guess the fact that i meet people at all through the internet makes ME the weirdo.

Anyway, if she has seen pics of you and replies to you very quickly it is likely that she is very interested!
