I am dating this girl I met through a friend of mine, we have been dating now for about 3 weeks. I really like her, and it seems she really likes me. We usually spend id say about every other day together for how ever long we can. I am just curious about any little things i can do to help make her smile, or make her day. My last relationship was a whopping 2 years ago, and i am a little rusty on the whole being romantic thing and would just like to find nice things to say to her or something nice to do for her etc. etc. so how ever lame you may think this thread is id really appreciate any help.

I find it's good to act like a goof sometime, let her laugh at you, but don't forget to laugh with her.

Also, just commenting on her appearance can make a girl happy. And be persistent with the comments, girls love hearing things more then once if it is a compliment. She especially wants to hear it if she goes "No I don't, I look awful today.." Etc... Usually that phrase is accompanied by a little grin and they will look away..

Yea we do get a good laugh in when we are around each other, she digs my sense of humor which would be one of my stronger traits any way so i supose i can play that to my advantage!! and as far as the complimenting goes i am always giving her compliments. Infact that was another worry of mine, is it possible for me to overdue complimenting. I dont want her to think i'm being corny and just trying to whoo her or something. Usually the ones i use are "baby your so beautiful" or "i'm so happy i've got you" and so on and so forth!

God, don't use comments like that. Those are so damn cheesy.

What I mean is, say her hair looks nice blah blah. Save beautiful for a few occasions, pretty is ok to use somewhat often.

Don't overdue it, but if you feel it needs to be said. Then say it.

yea and now you understand when i say i'm rusty at being romantic..at least ive got an idea now on what to not say hah, most of the time im at complete loss of words for fear of saying the wrong thing, so cheesy is what i fall back on, i think this is gunna take some serious practice! but thanks for the info.

for sure, but would 'cheese' be ok if i play it in to my humor some way or another, or would joking around with phrases like that end up offending or upseting her (she is known to get angry/upset/depressed very easily)?

err, i guess thats not really anything anyone could be 100% on.
