Default This is confusing.

I find that I am contradicting myself. I am wondering whether or not she likes me, and having serious doubts about whether to pursue anything. On the other hand, when I talk with other females I feel like I'm letting her down in some way.

I guess a context would help. I posted a thread yesterday about how I asked this one girl out for coffee after class, and she didn't say yes or no, but that she had another appointment, the time of which she was unsure. So then I had serious doubts about whether or not she likes me.

So then, today after class I started talking to this other girl, and I'm not sure where the other chick was. And now I have a severe guilt: like I've stood her up or something, even though we had no arrangement and we hadn't spoken all class.

The irrationality of this shit is insane. Does anyone else get this?

You're overthinking this WAY too much.

Ask her out again, and if she doesn't say "No, you smell bad and I just became a lesbian." then get a time and date out of her.

If she can't make it that day, make it later that week. If she can't make it then, find a time when she can make it.

If she doesn't know, get her number so you can call her and see...

Yeah you're going over things which may or may be true, in effect theorising something that needs to be rationalised.

So rationalise.

Do you know what else is confusing? Your post title. It's so vague. I didn't read any of it. +1 for my post count.

You *are* allowed to talk to more than one girl you know!

Especially considering the first one seems to be fucking you about so much.

If she cant even be fucking bothered to make a deffinate date to hang with you, just move on..

Best advice I could ever give you is to start two or three more threads on the same topic about the same chick and just sit back and wait for the ban notice to arrive in your email.

Edit:

I apologise for seeming a bit harsh. I meant no ill will. It is just that when I see two (or more) threads on the front page from the same poster, dealing with the same topic, neither one having more than a half dozen replies, it makes me think: Troll under the bridge.

Just so you know how it works here on &Totse, when you make a new (update) post to a thread, or edit any post, it automatically "bumps" the thread to the top of the list. The 'ranking' is based not upon the original post, but rather to the most recent post (or edit) to a thread.

So if you wnat to bring us "up to date", all you need to do is either edit your your original post, or just add an 'update' post to your original thread.

Yeah, when they get to hit page 3 sometimes it makes more sense to start a new one, but when they are 10 posts or less, just edit or update.

Just a friendly suggestion from your friends here on &Totse.

You're welcome!

And again... sorry
