How much lower or higher would you go? Do you have different limits for dating than you do for sex?

I would say both my limits are the same. I'm 18 and I won't go under 16; it's rare even to find a 16-year-old who I think is emotionally mature enough. My formula for the upper age limit is pretty simple - if you're closer in age to my dad (who is the younger of my two parents) than to me, it's a no go. My dad is 22 years older than I am, so I will go 11 years older, to 29.

if they look old enough at the younger end of the scale and young enough at the older end of the scale, they are.

Im 18, I'll go to 23 and nothing under 17.

My girl is 2 months, 2 days older than me.

For dating I find the Dirty Old Man Rule pretty accurate (half my age plus seven).

For sex, 16 is my limit.

I will no longer go younger than myself.

Even those younger than me who seem the most mature tend to not be.

Oldest... it really depends. Probably 28 or 29. 30 just seems too old for me, right now. Until I'm 20, at least.

I won't go younger then me, I have a weird thing about younger guys. So my age limits are 19 - 25. I'll go up to about 28 if its just sex.

21-24 is prime age

i'm in 8th grade and i'll go as low as 7th grade if they are mature enough (doubtful, we all were pretty immature in 7th grade, hell i still need to grow up a bit)

and i'll go for one year above maybe another

i'd prefer to go out with someone in my grade because i had a girlfriend who cheated on me after i left school on medical leave, so i kind of have a thing for being able to see if they are cheating or not

uhh.. In the past I had gone as high as 40 (at age 19) and as young as 13 (at age 16) They were both alcohol induced encounters

I generally wont go any more than a few months younger and no older than 35.

Well...I'm 26 and my husband is 31 and my shrink is 36 and my lawyer was 37 when I was 21. These are all of the hawt guys I know, BTW.:P

I wouldn't date a guy younger than me...But then if I wasn't with my husband, the only other guy I would go for is my shrink.

Im 21 and the youngest id go for is 17, depending on maturity. 16 is a no-no. Oldest, in general id say 30, but id go to 32, it depends. Although if my sister found out i was seeing a women older than 23 shed go mad! Told her i fancied someone at Uni who was 23 (my sister's age) and she got really pissed off about it!

I'm almost 20, lowest I'd go is 16 (legal age of consent here in MI), highest = late 20s. My ideal age range is 18-23.

Haha, even though I'm not a man, if I use that rule it ends up back at my age!

Anyways, I don't date anybody that's older than 3 years and I really don't do younger guys. I don't get along with people my own age, I've no idea how I'd end up dating somebody younger than me.

Hopefully going to be seeing a 35 year old soon. I'm 19.

19-28 is my guideline.

I go from a lot younger to a bit older.

My limit is five years older/younger. Mostly because the maturity level is generally the same and I will have more in common with girls of that age range as well.

I go from yay old to *points into the distance* yay old

I'm 19, I would date/shag younger girls.... but none younger than 16, and definately no younger guys. I don't really have an upper age limit, the guy I'm in love with is nearly 33 and I've fancied men and women much older than that before.

I'm 15.. I wouldn't go out with someone over 19

and I wouldn't go out with someone under 14
