I'm just curious what other people see it as, I personally think it is just the open mouth and tounge and whatnot, and groping, and after shes half naked your at that point between sex and making out that i don't know the name of.

Even though I think this is an utterly pointless thread, I'd say open mouthed kissing that lasts more than like 10 seconds is getting into "Making out" territory.

Well actually i just heard someone say something about a guy who made out with my girlfriend before we were going out, and it popped into my mind and i wondered what that meant, like if it was the same for everyone "making out" or if people have different views on what it specifically is.

What's a better way to put it then?

I've always used the term "made out" to describe when I kissed a girl for an extended period of time with tongue and body caressing, the only kind of kissing I do.

And if it doesn't lead to sex within 5 minutes, then I stop, because I find long make-out sessions pointless.

Id say making out for me is any kisses that are open mouthed for at least 2 seconds or more. Anything over 15 seconds I guess would fall into a VERY short makeout session but getting into longer ones make out session. Now I don't feel the groping is REQUIRED to make it a makeout session but without some gropping or grabbing of the sweet juicy ass then its not quite as fun. I LOVE making out and just squezzing a nice fucking ass.

Extended kissing is kissing for more then a few seconds. Meaning once you pass the whole kiss which lasts maybe half a second if that and use open mouth you've gone into making out.

Your 22 you should be able to figure out what the hell EXTENDED kissing might be.

I know full well what extended kissing is. What I meant is that I'm still waiting for a better term, since apparently "making out" is not the correct term.

I want to know what I'm supposed to call it when I kissed someone for an extended period of time.
