what to talk about
Over done thread probably, sorry.
Can you guys post ideas on things to talk about when on a date, say getting coffee/walk ? For the quiet awkward moments. I need some ideas, school weather, sports, etc. I can usualy think of something right away, but sometimes not. Thanks

Re: what to talk about
Golden rule: talk about people, not things.
Generally speaking girls find it easier to personally relate to stories about people.
And if they can't personally relate to whatever you're talking about, they'll get bored real fast.
Another rule: try and talk about them more than yourself. This doesn't mean saying nothing about yourself, just less than you talk about her. This may be boring but it's important.
Final rule: if you can't think of something to say, think back about the last thing you were talking about, and try and think of ANYTHING that's related to it. The best conversations segue from one thing to another, as long as there's at least SOME kind of connection between things it'll work out.

Re: what to talk about
If you already know its an overdone thread, then WHY THE FUCK DONT YOU GET OFF YOUR LAZY FUCKING ASS AND SEARCH FOR IT!?!?!
Are you unable to take the advice given on the same question the last 15 times it was asked? Do you really want everybody to repeat themselves, just so you dont have to hit the search button?
AND you just listed most of the possibilities for discussion in you question. Quit being such a fucktard and think about it a little bit before asking an "Over done thread."

You get quite angry over the internet I see.
PS. I wouldnt get out of my chair just to click on the search button, I'd stay seated.
And thanks for the replies

Re: what to talk about
If conversation doesn't flow, let it go. Why even bother making something work with some one if you can't even get the most basic thing, conversation, flowing? Imagine your sex life. Talk about awkward.
Just look for a new girl, and when the conversation is natural and progressive, she's right for you.
I'm a talky McTalkerson. It's all I do. Got told to quit school or I'll get expelled if I dont, just for being overly talkative and majorly distracting.
It's a skill. Like any skill, the more you do it the better you get. Talk more.

Re: what to talk about
This is just a stage you two will go through, it's happened to me before. All you have to do is ask her about her weekend, school, college, work? Also, asking her about her opinions and beliefs about certain things, such as sex/religion etc.
Dont worry about it too much though, this is just a stage of discomfort, just wait for a while... You two will over more dates and spending time together will get a lot more comfortable with eachother and conversation will flow.
Out of curiousity, how long have yous been dating for?

Re: what to talk about
Don't plan a speech...Just let it evolve.
Start with some idle banter about someone you both know and before you know it, you'll be conversing about quantum physics or something!
Don't fret and don't plan, my man...Just let it flow baby!
