Girl Problem!
I need some help...
I know, yeah, girl threads are lame. But this is pretty serious.. ya see, there's this one really special girl, who is really cute and I care for her a lot. I've known her for a couple years, since we go to the same school and have a lot of the same classes. I've tried to talk to her relatively often, so that she'd get the hint that I like her. Unfortunately it didn't work even though I was really nice and stuff.
Anyways, a week or so ago, it was her birthday. I wanted to take advantage of it to tell her how I feel. So I bought her an iPod, since she had been talking to me earlier about how she wanted one but couldn't get it. So to show I was listening to her I bought her one. I also wrote out a love sonnet, which I am really proud of. Anyways, I wrapped up the iPod, wrote out the love sonnet on scented paper in calligraphy, so it looked nice. So I rolled up the sonnet with a flower inside, and tied it to the wrapped iPod.
Then I kind of chickened out. I was too scared to give it to her, so I just left it in her mailbox (she lives on my street), since I thought the surprise would be good and stuff okay? But uhh, yeah, I realized later that I hadn't actually put my name anywhere on the sonnet or the iPod, so she had absolutely no way of knowing who gave it to her. I'm an idiot loser.
Things have been continuing for normal this past week, and I've talked to her as normal, and have even asked her things like "so did you get anything good for your birthday?" thinking that if she mentioned the iPod I could be like oh that was me, I didn't leave my name on it? Oops! But she didn't mention the iPod! I don't even know if she got it but I checked later and it wasn't in the mailbox. I hope she got it since it said her name on it but maybe her sister stole it or something?
Argh, I just don't know what to do guys. I thought of buying her a nice new ring, and giving that to her, and attaching another sonnet to it, in the same format, and this time giving it to her in person so she knows its me and knows I gave her the iPod, but I don't know what to do. Should I just tell her I gave it to her? Won't she think thats a little weird, that I mention my present like that? Won't it reveal that I like her? I don't want her to know because I'm afraid and won't she think I'm a stalker or something?
Also to buy the iPod I kind of spent a lot of my money. So I don't have enough to buy my clothes and stuff since I used the money my parents gave me for that. So what should I do? I thought of asking for the iPod back so I could return it, but I kind of don't talk to her that often so it might be weird.
Please help me guys. I don't know what to do.

I didn't read a single word of that.
Go to S&A and ask the other losers for advice.

Re: Girl Problem!
Yeah, i was thinking S&A too. To start, quit trying to give her gifts until you actually have some kind of relationship beyond "friends".

Re: Girl Problem!
Mistakes:
1) You didn't tell her you were interested, so you protended. (You were actually acting like a woman here)
2) You bought her something, expecting her to like you in return. (Talk about manipulation)
3) You're still at it, claiming she's special and all when you have no idea what kind of person she is. (Find another girl)
4) You were seen as a friend because you were so "nice" but don't try go to the other extreme either, a "jerk." (Forget both and next time be a man)
5) You didn't tell her implicit or explicitally what you wanted from her, you just wanted her to figure it out, or you didn't really know what you wanted from her (Sex? relationship? next time figure it out)
If you can't see what I'm saying then you need to grab your balls and see if it's there. Really.

Re: Girl Problem!
You seem like a sweet guy, but the whole buying her an iPod and writing her a love sonnet seems a little drastic, considering you guys havent ever hung out and only talk sometimes n stuff. So yeha u shouldnt of done that but its too late now. dont tell her u did just act liek it never happened. And dont writ eher anymore love sonnets either. Ask her to go out with u sometime. If she sinterested shell say yes, if she snot shell say no, and if she says no, u might just wanna give up and find someone else or talk to her a little bit more.

Re: Girl Problem!
You have your answer already.
If you want sympathy then you're not gonna get it, especially here.

This was posted like a year ago. I swear. Either you're a troll, or you're retarded. But, I repeat myself.

You don't talk to her that often, yet bought her an expensive piece of technology?
