Im just wondering if this would be ok to do for a girl.

Im thinking about asking her if she'd like to meet up at the weekend, maybe get a train somewhere (Not far, Only like a stop or two...) and just get to know eachother...

I want to ask this girl tomorrow but Im scared she might think "Oh... a train ride for 10minutes... The joy...". I just want to get to know her, and it seemed a good idea.

I need ideas though... As we'd just be going out as friends (Well, Not even that - friend of a friend's...)..

I dont know this girl to much, and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get to know her. Apparently she likes me ALOT, and well.. I wont deny I return some of that.

Any thoughts...

(Oh, And please don't take my other thread into account. Im not planning playing anyone...)

Where im going just has a shopping center, a few shops (How can I stay out of the geeky ones when Im with a female though! :P) and a nice park. Its quite a nice area though, I go there with mates alot.

Im not sure what im looking for really. Seems as good a place as any BUT what could we do?

I love any kind of public transport. Trains, busses.

Having a date thats a train hop would be so fun!

But...in answering your Q, hmm yeah, goin for a nice walk to get to know eachother is cool, get something to drink but make sure the convo doesnt dry up.

Yeah, I've learnt from experiance to come prepared with convo topics! But this is something I will need to work on.

Do you guys do drugs? My favourite dates are the ones where you get baked and then go on an adventure of some sort. These adventures usually lead to fast food restaurants though...

Any activity where you can talk with her would be good. This is why TV/Movie dates suck for getting to know someone. If she's already interested in you, it won't matter to her where you go. If you're worried about conversation drying up, go somewhere with a lot of things happening. If you don't think conversation is a problem, go somewhere quieter or more secluded.

Exactly! This place has a massive park... quiet and secluded spots included. It also has a shopping center... a hive of activity! So depending on how its going I can steer the mood to keep it happy!
