Ok so I went out on saturday night and got fairly bladdered, it was a good night of DnB with some old mates. Went to an after party and bought a wrap of mdma, railed probably half a gram and started skinning a joint. Then I stood up and vomit what little I have eaten in the corridor. Host is fine, she says don't mind. So then the disco powder kicks in and I'm absoloutely mashed. I take a seat on the sofa, and smoke the joint I was rolling, and give some weed to everyone to skin up. If you got this far, well done, keep reading. My point is I was pretty wasted, and I haven't really even been into powders and shit for a couple years.

So I'm feeling great, lying back on this sofa probably chewing my face off, when I tell this guy with a pink boa to "roll me a joint, you slag", cause the girl he was with said he liked to be gimpish or something when we were introduced. He gave a grin and started skinning up. Then he and this bird sit on the sofa next to me. Already there are like 4-5 girls in this room staring at me and preening. This is where it gets interesting. Typical shuffling closer with the girl on the couch and all that shit, until this boa guy is giving her tips or something into her ear, like he's reading my signals or something, like me blatantly cold shouldering this like 30 year old woman who sat on top of me on the other side of us, he's telling her that its good for her that kind of shit. It was near cock blocking but just freaky. I don't know if they thought I could hear or what. So I just chilled while she pressed harder and harder against my leg, quivering it really fast and shit, until she had hers bent around my calf. Now I would have usually been bending her over a bed before this point, but I am truely rolling and I know I'm not going to come unless we get to chafing amounts of time, plus I'm barely even in my own head.

She was hot, but I didn't do anything, despite the fact she was blatantly up for it (maybe threeway? ) The dude telling her how well she was doing (fucking sofa coach) kinda threw me off, I've had bad experiences with fag hags and I wasn't in a shagging mood to boot. So she just got more and more frustrated until she left like 2 hours later.

Maybe I should have just pulled her for a bit, but what's the point in that? It's just getting her even more.. wet. Was I a dick?

But I've always felt a certain kind of guilt, when I've ignored the advances of a girl who was making blatant come on signals to me.

It's bullshit really, but I guess it's because I feel like I've insulted them in some way. Or hurt their feelings, sort of thing.

So my normal strategy is to stick my head in the sand like an ostrich and pretend to be oblivious of the signals. Which is a stupid strategy honestly, but whatever.

That's how a lot of girls respond if they don't want to reciprocate. Nothing wrong with it. I think it'd be far more insulting to have the stranger tell you off for coming on to them :/

I don't know if I was flirting per se.. I mean I was peaking on that mdma so I was being a big loved up wide eyed bastard, and I'm always kind of flirting when I'm like that. I was reacting to her approach, but I mean, it feels nice having someone snuggling against you when you're rolling off your ass.

I know I SHOULD believe that, and the double standard is ridiculous.

But since girls normally are the ones being pursued, and rarely do the pursuing, that it makes them feel bad to be rejected after giving some guy a total green light.

In my experience too it usually seems like a girl more or less ASSUMES that if she lets a guy know she wants to fuck, that he'll automatically want to do it. And to be fair, it's a reasonable assumption unless the girl is nasty.

I don't get insulted if I'm hitting on somebody and they don't respond, unless I have some sort of history with them.

One time though, I was at a party, and my friend brought her... less attractive, slightly overweight friend. Yea I've encountered that kind of brutish wench before but the girl that night was actually pretty nice. Blonde, nice body and face, viable one night stand material. If I wasn't totally monged I would have hit it for sure. She had this crazy nervous laugh that was like a single chuckle shriek.. I think I was going to hit it until I heard that.
