You can call this a break up story I guess, more of a vent for me.

guys, i need to know how you get the girl of your dreams out of your head. I know i sound stupid by saying i know she the one, but it is true. I want to spend my whole fucking life with her, even though we broke up. Now i am far from Emo, I can and am getting over her day by day. However, due to the fucked up ways of life, I have to see her day in and day out. I know that i want to love her still, but when we talked about us breaking up i found out there is no point in trying to get her back. What was said, was said and it is over. Now sadly, she is the one broke up with me. She said it was all a huge lie, and that she never felt much for me.

So i ask you totse, how do you forget her in something like this? I still love her, and always will. I close my eyes and all i see is her face. However, I know that still wanting her is going to fuck me up. what should i do?

Thats probably the hardest, most drawn out way to do it, anyway. Theres probably easier ones, but that one works for sure in the end. The faster she starts fucking around, the faster you are going to get over her.

Truth. I'm going through the same thing; we've been broken up for about 6 weeks now, and I have to see her regularly due to the fact my campus is so small.

Xanax helps, I also avoid being alone at all costs, because it just makes me think about things. Surround yourself with friends as much as possible.

i know if me and my girlfriend broke up id be emotionally DEAD afterwards.i mean,realistically i want to spend the rest of my life with her,and i hope i do...but if we dont i can see me being drunk out of my tree for a loooong time.

but yeah,find SOMETHING,ANYTHING to occupy your self...doesnt have to be anything cool...it could be jerking off,playing with toys or building models! whatever! ya know?



for me its getting drunk,working my ass off,lifting weights and video games.

Think about things like since she broke up with you, she wasnt 'the one', so there is someone out there much better than her. And think about all the spare time you now have. Haha

Edit: Also, hanging out, drinking, and just laughing with mates seems to get my mind off shit situations.

No, you dont understand.

The idea is to not take antidepressents or avoid thinking about it. Youll get over it much faster if you just run it through your head for a while. You get used to it taht way.

Avoiding it just draws it out.

Also, i do not condone the use of this method for pretty much anyone. Judging by a lot of threads i see in S&A, your probably going to go emo and start cutting or something. That is also not the idea.

Thats exactly what happened to me/what i did.

If you fill your mind with other things, youll be able to temporarily release yourself from it. You should really like meditate or just think deeply about it, itll hurt like a bitch while youre doing it, but it could aid and speed up the healing process.

The only thing that will make it truely bearable though is time, after a while you will start to move on and find someone else, even though right now thats probably the last thing on your mind.

Dont obsess over it, but dont just block it out of your mind, come to terms with it.
