I've never dated or done stuff with a friend, for good reason. I'm asking those that have, how you've taken a friend (so-so friend, not really a best friend, but someone you've known for a couple of years) and made them into a girlfriend. It's bugging me because I shouldn't, but I want to.

All this fucking uncertainty, mind games, and wierd fucking mating ritual dance piss me the fuck off. I just want to tell someone I like them, and get a straight answer back. When the fuck did it become so annoyingly difficult?

But I'm ranting. Help me, what should I do to hint to a friend I like her, or just straight out let her know.

The only time Ive done anything similar, it just happened... also, it didnt last too long. It then took maybe a year until it wasnt weird hanging out.

I don't care about that. I don't see her enough to be worried about "ruining a friendship". I don't mind trying and having it fail miserably, though the uncertainty is killing me,

I posted this a few days ago, IIRC.

If a relationship is going to form between friends, it is likely that it will just happen. Try to start hanging out and talking more, especially on a one-to-one basis. If things arent looking good for you, I guess you could chance your arm and just throw it in there...

"I really wanna fuck you! Spin around for me? Damn, you're hot. At least touch me or something!"

...or I guess you could sneak into her house while she's asleep and take a picture of her with your cock on her forehead.

Of course I want this to happen too. This girl is damn sexy, but gets on my nerves sometimes, which just makes me like her more.

The best way to get to know someone better is to "go through something" with them, if you know what I mean. For instance, if either you or her were coming out of a bad relationship and needed someone to talk to about it (this has happened to me) you might choose each other for emotional support. Of course, those sorts of things only work if they're real and actually happened.

Otherwise, just spend more time with her one-on-one like Docta said. Tell her things about yourself, and ask her about herself. Sometimes, as regular friends you skip over these sorts of things. Also the disclosure of personal information (not TOO personal) is a sign of trust. A girl likes to know that she can confide in a man.

Not often you see Zok posting around these parts. Bravo, good man.

Just call her, talk to her, hang with her. Make her laugh and make her come and a woman is in your hands.

Women are hard to talk to one-on-one when they've always got a group with them in case of rape or tampon shortages or God knows what. Still, I'll give it a shot, try to get her alone, and start to talk to her about increasingly more intimate things.

If she's in a group; firstly find out if you have a chance with her from one of her close friends, they should know. If they dont laugh in your face, ask them to help you out a little.

Ive done this before, asked my target's best friend to get her to come with me when I went to the shop, just as an excuse... the chick was into me, though. I guess that's gonna help a hell of a lot.

Also, if you ask one of her friends, her friend is GOING to tell her. If she doesn't laugh in your face, she'll tell her something good. If she laughs at you, she's still going to tell her friend what you said and it would be up to her for interpretation.

Edit: Regardless the idea is planted in her mind and she'll consider the possibilities.

If she's not a best friend or anything then it probably wouldn't be that awkward. It sounds as if it'd be easy for you to move on if she doesn't like you.

Ask her on a date and tell her your feelings at the end, if she accepts you offer. If she likes you great, if she doesn't then she can just fuck off.

Pairing up really has become complex. It's not that big of a deal, I'm not sure why everybody makes it out to be. I wish more people were bold. That'd kick ass.

Anyways, all the luck to you!

I've done it before, but it was easy because I was getting obvious signs that she was into me.

But anyway, I'm in a similar situation now, except that she really doesn't seem like she wants more than a friendship.

I keep trying to get her to see me, but she never will. Afterward she keeps saying that she wants to hang out, but I don't think she will unless there's a group.

She's really shy and to my knowledge has never had a boyfriend so I can't figure out if she doesn't like me, or just doesn't like boys.

However, she's shown a few signs that kind of exemplify interest (Asking me who I went to the movies with, texting me saying she's sorry for not hanging out with me the night before)

What do you guys recommend I do?
