I remember seeing a TV show where they stated it's illegal to own a genuine police uniform since this is seen as impersonating a police officer irregardless of what she's actually going to use it for.

So the only help I can offer is to try a costume shop or like the person in the show, attempt to get it from the shop that specializes in police equipment.

Buy a foreign/outdated one on ebay or something.

I always wanted genuine millitary clothing for myself for similar purposes, tacky fetish junk won't do!
