Well im 18 years old and ive never had a girlfriend, well until now I am pretty much hopeless with girls and I was sure I was just gonna be a loner all my life but at school this one cute girl has been hanging around me alot more and we were spending alot of time together but I figured she wouldnt be intrested in me, but then the other day she brought up how people keep asking her if we were dating and I just spit it out and straight up asked her out, and to my total surpise she was happy I asked. Well we have been going out for a couple days now and im just so new to this, we havnt had much physical contact yet just holding hands and hugging and shit do you think its too soon to go for a kiss? And how do you figure I should go about it, like ive never kissed a girl before so im kinda nervous, my friend told me I should just wait till the right moment and ask her if she likes surpises and when/if she says yes just kiss her but I dunno if I could pull something like that off smooth id prolly fuck it up and make everything akward..

The only problem is im in grade 12 and 18 and she is in grade 9, 16 years old (cause she failed a grade) and people keep talking shit and making jokes like oh your her baby sitter or what? But it doesnt really bother me im just happy to be with someone.

well gratz dude i hope you get to have lots of fun and learn some stuff about this. dont take it too fast but dont take it too slow. when you are hangin out alone and if u are watching a movie and something romatic happens just go in for the kiss. or do what your friend said. sounds pretty good to me.

There's not many things i hate more than seeing guys who are fun to be with and smart, but can't figure out how to talk to girls. It's depressing to see them beat themselves up over it.

Here's how I'd do it: An ideal time would be at night when you're together, alone on the couch or propped up in bed, and watching a movie, listening to music, or whatever.

This is assuming she's snuggled up against you and you have your arm around her. Just wait for the right moment and then very gently caress the back of her neck, right at the hairline. Don't just go there instantly though. You want to work your way up slowly. When you bring your hand back down, make sure you get gentle contact with the back of her ear. At that point, if she's willing, she'll probably be looking at you with puppy dog eyes. Look her straight in the eye and move in for a kiss.

As far as kissing goes, don't make it too wet for the first one. Don't suck the oxygen out of her lungs, and don't shoot for a 30 second kiss the first time. You want to be gentle and feel the whole thing out. Rushing in too hard can give you the dreaded collision of teeth.

don't try to pull any moves on her, that will come off as cheesy, especially if you're somewhat insecure about it.

when you're having a good time together, outside of school, just look her deep into the eyes, hold one of her hands, and stroke her hair or cheek with your other. slowly move in, close eyes, enjoy.

believe me, once you get past the first date/kiss/time etc, it all gets soo much easier.
