Ok, recently Ia ogt in touch again with some people from my old primary school. One of these people was this girl I knew from primary school. We were good mates and she is know really fit.
Would thsi relationship work, or would I be living in the past?

I think rekindling friendships and taking them further sounds good, but only you know her, use your judgement.
