the other night, after fingering my gf, we turned on the lights to find that she had bled everywhere.

we cleaned up, and laughed, and thought nothing of it.

the problem is, its carried on- on and off- for four days now.

we havnt had sex, and its not her period, and shes not in pain at all.

does anyone have any idea what it could be/what to do about it?

EDIT: she's on the pill, and has changed the type recently- if that has anything to do with it.

Are you SURE it's not her period? Changing to a different pill could knock her cycle out.

shes dead certain.

the pill change happened a month or so ago, and shes had her period since, and is due again next week i think.

though the other week she carried on taking it to try and delay her period (instead of having a week break) and it happened a day or so later and carried on for ages.

though it was just after foreplay, is its possible for it to have set something like that off, or would it have to be unlucky timing.

the main question is, is it likely to be serious, or should it sort itself out?

well this is a stiuation that happened to a friend of mine and she went from changing pills and everything and what happened was that it messed up her cycle.

what she eventually had to do was not take the pill anymore untill her cycle went back to normal.

or and here is some advice for your girl.

tell her that if she doesnt take the week break when she is supposed to then that could also contribute to her periods lasting so long because its extra hormones right. and one more thing about that is that when shes older and stops taking the pill it could make her flow heavier and last up to 10 days instead of 5-7...
