Default So I might have AIDS... (A story of adultery, drugs, and the mentally ill)

I just had probably one of the most epically fucked up weekends of my life...

The more fucked up parts all started occurring a few days ago, after pulling 2 all-nighters in a row with the aid of alcohol, cocaine, and ecstasy. A friend and I ended up stranded in a nearby town for the night, and it was around 5 am. A woman approached my friend and I asking if we were looking for 'down' (Heroin, for those who don't know). Since I love heroin much more than ecstasy and cocaine, and have been craving it alot lately, I got excited, and immediately jumped at the opportunity to buy some.

I went to the ATM inside a nearby gas station and took out a bunch of cash, and then gave 20 to the woman. She came back about 10 minutes later, and the two of us (my friend stayed behind) went into a nearby bush. She then proceeds to pull out a pipe, loads it, and then gives me a hit. I didn't see her load it, so I was expecting heroin, but I definitely tasted crack. She told me that it was cut with down. I didn't believe her, but I figured that it was better than nothing. Plus I was starting to enjoy her company.

She was actually quite attractive for a homeless drug addict. I guessed her age at 24, but she admitted to being 33. She had been homeless for over two and a half years. She also has a 9 year old daughter, but she doesn't see her very often. She's also extremely bipolar.

We then went off to find a new spot, and since the buses had begun running again, my friend just went home. We ended up hanging out in this underground hallway for a while, smoking crack together and just talking about stuff. I actually started to take a liking to her. After a while, probably a bit delirious from being awake for over 50 hours, and a bit intoxicated from the drugs, I just said out of nowhere: "What if we were to move in together?" (Keep in mind, I've only known this woman for little over an hour).

She said she would love to. We started making plans, and then decided to head back out to my hometown to start looking for vacant suites available for rent. We went back to my moms house while she was at work, so that we could do some research online for vacancies. While we were there though, we were drinking beer, smoking more crack and a bit of heroin.

I ended up too messed up to even do any research, so we just decided to watch a movie, and that I would let her stay in my room with me until tomorrow when we would go and find a place. Shortly thereafter though, my mom barged into my room (as she always does), and must have started making all kinds of assumptions since I had a 33 year old woman in my room. She told me that she had to be gone by the time she got back home from taking my sister to hockey (2 hours later).

Well, about 15 minutes later, a couple of my moms friends barge in my room and one of them tells my newly found friend to get out of the house right away, and in a VERY impolite way. She wasn't even fully dressed (she had changed into pajamas). They were treating her like she was absolutely nothing, like her life didn't matter. I was infuriated at this prejudice and lack of compassion. I immediately threw on my jacket and grabbed whatever essentials I could within the alloted time, and we both left the house.

As I was leaving, my mom asks me where I'm going and demands me to stay. I said I wasn't going to abandon a friend in need. She then said, "Do you realize what she is?" I told her, "Yeah, she's a human being. A living person like you or me, who just might have made a few mistakes in the past." Then I slammed the door and left to catch up to her.

We ended up staying in the cheapest hotel we could find that night. We picked up some liquor, crack, and heroin, as well as some food just in case.

The night was amazing. Not just because of the drugs, or the sex, but because I was really starting to like her. We had an awesome time. We talked. We played around on the bed. She even modeled a bunch of her sexy outfits she picked up at the thrift store. She also said some things to me that I had never really heard before. She told me that even just the way I touched her made her feel so good. She said that no one had ever made her feel that way. She made me feel special and important. It might seem like she was just trying to flatter me or something (although I don't see what that would accomplish anyway), but she even started crying a bit at some point, telling me that I was just so good to her and made her feel so good. When I finally completely undressed her and was about to go inside her, she said "I've been waiting for this since we met". (She also said I was amazing in bed, especially my durability, like the "energizer bunny" she said, lol) She also said that what made the sex the greatest was the feeling to it. She said that it was more emotional than just fucking, like we were actually making love. She even told me a few times that she loved me and she could actually see us being together for a long time.

Anyway, here's where it gets really fucking weird...

After about 30 minutes or so of having sex, she suddenly twitches really fast. She then stops moving completely and gives me one of the scariest looks I've ever seen. She looked absolutely horrified. She was kinda shaking too. This freaked the shit out of me since it came completely out of nowhere. I asked her what was wrong, and she started going on about red dragons, exorcism, and all this other really creepy satanic-type stuff. She was being really vague about it though. She gets off the bed and starts freaking out, saying that "they" are coming. I was in absolute fucking shock. This was probably one of the scariest experiences of my life. I had no idea what to do to calm her down or to get her to talk rationally.

You could tell within minutes of meeting her that there was *something* wrong with her, but for the most part, it didn't manifest itself in such an intense way. I slammed back 3 beers, back to back, and then sparked up a smoke. I had no idea how to react. She started crying and so we hugged for a bit. Then we decided to go for a walk outside for a bit. At this point she turned into kinda like a little kid (I swear she must have split personalities). She was all happy and playful now. She even spoke in a really "cute" voice now. We sat down on a curb so that I could finish another drink, and she cuddled up next to me and told me how happy she was to have found me. After a bit, we go back, and go to sleep.

We wake up the next morning in a rush to pack all our stuff, and to clean the place up before check-out time. At this point she transforms into another one of her personalities. She goes into uber-bitch mode. She started yelling at me for everything and anything she could think of. Although after she has a coffee and a cigarette, she calmed down.

Anyway, this brings me forward to this morning. She panhandles about 5 bucks, and I put in another 5 so we can go in on some crack to start our day, before we go looking at basement suites. While we're at the bus station (where all the dealers congregate), we run into this guy who decides to talk to me privately. He asks me how I know the girl I'm with, so I tell him that we just met, and are planning to move in together. Then the guy says, "Just forget about the moving in... She's my old lady. I disappeared for a bit, but I'm back now."

At this point, I'm feeling all kinds of emotions. For one thing, I'm feeling a bit heartbroken, as I really did develop feelings for this girl. Also, I'm a bit scared that he will somehow find out that we had sex (He was in his 30's most likely, and rather tough looking, and also with other guys his age). But then he drops another bomb...

"I'd be careful around her. She might be HIV positive, because I have it."

At this point, I have no idea what to think. I just stand there, staring at the ground, in a state that I can't even describe.

I then go over to Sheri (sp?), the woman who this thread is about, and tell her that I have to go. I can tell that she already knows what's going on, and how awkward things were all about to get, so she just asked for a hug before I went on my way.

Now I'm at home. I just got another lecture from my mom about "bringing addicts into the house", which just kinda rubbed it in a little more.

This might sound ridiculous, but the part that affects me the most is the fact that I may never see her again. The possibility that I may die of AIDS doesn't even phase me at the moment.

So there you have it. Yet another story of how I fell for someone too fast and ended up getting hurt so badly in the end.

All I have to remember her by is this little plastic gnome that she had in one of her bags for some reason. That, and the memories we shared together.

*sigh*

Life sucks.

I'm technically homeless, and you can't tell me that you wouldn't sleep with me. I mean honestly.

Just because she's homeless is a dumb reason to not sleep with her. With the rampant drug use and obvious mental problem though, I think that would be enough.

Homeless probably because of her addictions - it kinda just comes under the same umbrella.

Honestly, if you get HIV then it's your own fucking DUMB fault for not wrapping your shit. I'm just astounded that someone can be so STUPID.

Have some heart, yo. Everyone makes mistakes, and for him to contract AIDs just for this would be.. unfair, to say the least.

EDIT: I doubt what this guy needs now is to be called an idiot.

What exactly is going to be caused by you calling him names?

Look, he made a mistake. He KNOWS this, and now may have to live the rest of his life with a terminal illness.

That on its own should be a wakeup call, and your attacks on him aren't going to help in any possible way.

Zek, this is based on this contuined retarded relationship threads he posts in here.

He comes here for advice, the people of totse hand it to him on a platter - then a week (or less) later theres another sob story from him. When will he fucking learn?

Sometimes the only way to talk to thick people is with harsh words. Bringing it down to their level.

Jesus man, get ready for a stressful few weeks.

If you did contract HIV, it would take 2-3 months before your body starts producing detectable antibodies.

That's just the standard test though, I'm not sure if it's the only one.

It still seems to me that you're not bringing him any good and are instead trying to take out some anger on him for being stupid (in your eyes) in past threads.

I don't see what advice he needs? The answers are obvious. But I can spell it out if you would like me too.

1. Get checked out.

2. Learn to use a condom

3. Stop wearing your heart on your sleeve

4. Maybe consider not using drugs if you can't control yourself on them.

5. Trashy homeless people with bipolar that are drug addicts are generally a sign of something not to sleep with. If you wanted to help here shoving it in her wasn't the best way of doing so.

6. Don't sleep with any other chicks, keep it in your pants.

7. Don't be so fucking disrespectful to your mother, if you live under her roof then expect to live by her rules, if you don't like it then move out? I don't think its unfair of her asking you not to bring a drug addict into the house, when obviously you have younger silblings their.

Anyone else have an 8, 9 and 10? Just so we could make it as simple as possible for him?

Drugs are fucking awesome. First, you take a handful of moron. Add a touch of addictive substances that are outlawed for good reasons and purchased from criminals. Mix well, cook 30 minutes and BAM, a bowl of steaming fuckup. Who would have thought of that

I just don't see why I should sugar coat it. It was one big mistake after the other, most people would have heard warning bells from the start.. yet he managed to avoid them all the way through and this is where he's ended up.

Me being sweet and supportive isn't going to get through - that style just doesn't work on people like him.

No one sugar-coated it. Look at my first post, I said the same thing you did (not in an overly nice way either) excluding the pointless flames. Your harsh words won't help him accept it anymore than anything else, meaning they are unnecessary.

Well, it always amazes me that people who post here know so little about HIV that they figure you can get tested the next day?

Other than the new Saliva Test? Blood Tests don't work until 3 MONTHS +!

Right now? I diagnose Chronic Sillybillyitis.

I hope you've told/emailed all your friends & relatives this wonderful story? I'm very impressed by your humanitarian character? Your kid sis? Tell her! Take her to meet Cheri? Your sis could learn good things from this woman with Huge Street Cred?

Maybe Cheri could even get her a job...on the Street?

Never trust an EIA/ELISA test. Get yourself a PCR, and another one 6 months later. This is what I had to do.

Have you seriously considered that maybe you belong on the street? Maybe your 'People' are there? With their Crack, their Smack? Their secret plans to go to 7/11//Safeway...shit to jack?

The prostitution & promiscuity? The sweet Bi-ness of it all? The chance of being given a tour of Drumheller & Matsqui? Stony Mtn & Joyceville? A chance to really learn from experts?

Experts with a lot of time on their hands to devote to your edumication?

http://tinyurl.com/uzdqp

The chance to see what kind of Homeless Shelters the various towns & cities have? The chance to hook up with a lot of sweet street folks & smoke/shoot up with them?

A chance to bang a gong, to get it on? With a zillion friendly folks?

FYI: I USED A FUCKING CONDOM!!!

I probably should have mentioned that. I'm not that fucking stupid. I thought that people would at least give me the benefit of the doubt here.

Condoms are not 100% effective though. In fact, I always thought that condoms were practically useless when it came to STD-prevention. I mean, there is still skin-skin contact in that area, especially if you have any slippage.

quote:Originally posted by lauren7249:

1. getting tested will be meaningless - HIV doesn't show up for 3 months

Thank you. I'm surprised so few of the people commenting here don't know this. The first (and only) person in real life that I told about this (a very trusted, but distant from any immediate social circle, happened to walk by me no more than 30 minutes after I received the bad news) told me that it could take up to 6 months.

quote:Originally posted by lauren7249:

2. the guy may have just been saying that to get you away from her

That is something I have considered. I'm hoping that it's the case. Although he did mention the fact that he had shared alot of needles in his drug history (he was actually being nice to me, and kinda lecturing me on not getting started on harsh drugs or the street life).

quote:Originally posted by lauren7249:

3. you're a compelling writer

THANK YOU! I love hearing that. I don't know why, but I find writing style very important. I guess I just really like to be able to express myself as well as I can. Plus, I tend to write long posts sometimes, so I feel like I should make them as interesting as possible, so as to keep the readers attention throughout.

quote:Originally posted by lauren7249:

4. you didn't seem like such a druggie from your other posts

It's kinda funny you should mention that, because I hear that alot in real life as well. Some people seem absolutely bewildered when they hear about some of the stuff I do or have done. I guess a persons looks, and the surface of their character they project, can be deceiving.

quote:Originally posted by lauren7249:

5. hiv has a low transmission rate

Now that is good to hear.

quote:Originally posted by Twisted_Ferret:

Thanks, and yeah, I know I should have probably anticipated that something like this might have happened.

quote:Originally posted by kAtE-:

Well I'm SO SORRY that I choose to not fuck the homeless.

You prejudice cunt. You have the exact same attitude that my mom and her friends had. "Homeless people = garbage."

She's a normal person. I mean, aside from the drug addiction, severe mental problems, and the fact that she's homeless, she's a human being that exhibits the same tendencies, emotions, and habits that we all do (more or less).

Maybe if you took the time to get to know one of these people, you would realize that they are in fact not much different from you or me.

Sure, she might be a bit "dirty", since she's homeless, but its not like you can catch an STD from dumpster diving (at least not as far as I know). Besides, it's possible to maintain semi-decent hygiene while homeless.

The fact that she is a drug user also does not equate to a higher likelihood of having an STD unless she were using needles. She was not an avid needle user (she only used one ONCE in her lifetime, and that was for crystal meth).

So while one might assume that there is a higher chance of her being "dirtier" than people with homes, or those who don't use drugs, you are still running the same risk to contract an STD with every non-virgin you fuck.

Gadzook, if you had read all my posts you would have seen me say 'if you wanted to help her, sticking it in her wasn't the way to do it'.

If you're under your mothers roof, then you have to live by her house rules. If you don't like it, live somewhere else and take in all the lost souls you want, and try to help them.

Infact, I've helped homeless people in the past, but that didn't involve doing drugs with them, then sleeping with them - that's not helping their cause, that's making it worse.

You mean at the beginning of the post? Right after meeting Sheri?

For one thing, we had to part ways eventually. We had spent the past few days together, without sleeping. That is alot of time to spend with the same person. We were probably going to just end up going to our respective homes anyway once that first bus came (which is when me and my friend parted).

Not only that, but he was being REALLY rude to Sheri. He was being way too condescending, so I felt bad for her.

quote:Originally posted by kAtE-:

Gadzook, if you had read all my posts you would have seen me say 'if you wanted to help her, sticking it in her wasn't the way to do it'.

So just because I fell for her in the process, I am still under some kind of obligation to keep it strictly based on helping her. It's not like having a little fun would have gotten in the way.

And in case you didn't gather it from my earler posts in this thread, I ACTUALLY LIKE HER. I wasn't just looking to get a quick fuck. I could have easily just jerked off in the hotel washroom. Sex isn't as important to me as it may seem. It's the only thing I can think of doing after hours of passionate play and making out. And I know for a FACT that she wanted it. I'm actually a very shy person sometimes, so I usually wait for only the most obvious of signs to tell me that a girl wants me to make that move. The way she quivered when I touched certain parts of her body, the way she told me not to stop, the way she told me every time I touched her it felt amazing, and the fact that she kept trying on all the sexiest outfits she had (and let me pick some out for her to try on), all seemed like definite green signals to me.

quote:Originally posted by kAtE-:

Yeah I know. I just thought that she might have an ounce of compassion or sympathy. She used to be welfare worker for fuck sake. It's ironic how insensitive so many people in the social work industry can be.

She also didn't have to be so fucking rude about it. You have no idea how harsh they were to her. They actually made her cry.

My mom is a stupid, close-minded, self-centered cunt.

So? If your mother & sis had been away for a few days? You'd had the house to yourselves?

If she freaked & got violent? Done damage to the house or...invited half doz folks over while you'd gone out for a while?

If she/her friends decided to split before/after you got back? Anything in particular you/ma/sis would have missed if the 'poor folk' had ripped it off?

Or would you have minded if any of those things were gone? You gotta have sympathy for the poor, eh?

Nope, its in my nature to be blunt.. I swear a lot.. So really I was just being me.

EDIT: and only people that deserve compassion will get it from me.

I've been through this, you of all people should know to read my posts properly.

The topic starters continual threads warrent less and less compassion every time he is on here. He is a hypocrit at the highest level, and a womaniser to boot.

He goes on about how he wants a relationship, yet he still sleeps around. I am sure you have seen past threads of his. His last couple were when I decided that he didn't deserve kind words, and when I read this one it was clear that being blunt and too the point may be a better tactic.

Gadzooks, firstly if you wore a condom then its fairly unlikely that you have contracted HIV. Its actually a lot harder to get than most people think.

Secondly I have to say I don't understand your mother's behaviour. I don't think I would be happy if my sons brought an addict home but I can't see myself throwing her out without just cause...unless she was ginger of course.

Wait...'zooks is serious?! I though he was just making this shit up!

Man, 'zooks, you're a dumbass if there ever was one! Sleeping with random homeless addicts. And you actually fancy her? Ever hear the saying "You can't turn a ho into a housewife?" Forget it, man. Drop the whole "she's just a human like everyone else" bullshit. Some people just fuck their lives away on the streets doing drugs and fucking strangers. They don't contribute to society in any way other than showing everyone else what not to do. For god's sake, straighten your damn life out before you end up just like that chick.

gadzooks

I just want to say that I hope everything goes alright for you and that when you get tested it comes back negative.

Everyone makes mistakes and some are worse than others but they are still mistakes and if we MEANT to do them, they wouldn't be mistakes.

I admire your position on homeless people and drug users. It doesn't make people garbage.

I didn't even read most of this thread because I saw a lot of flaming and like Zek said, that won't help you.

Since you used a condom, even though there is always that chance, at least it is small.

I wish you well!

You really beleived..a whore, when she said she loved you and that you were amazing in bed and that she wanted to live with you...?

That's not lonely or even desperate, that's fucking insane.

Considering you fed that woman for almost two days and got her shelter and helped her pay for drugs, I imagine she would have said anything you wanted to hear.

Get tested. Fucking quick!

Explain to your mum that you didnt just fall for some whore, tell her that you actually wanted to help the whore. Even if its a lie your mum might calm down a bit.

Thirdly, after you get tested, stop fucking around with dirty manipulative bitches and find yourself a good girl who will care for you and love you and wont want your money or your drugs.

I'm pretty sure there's something they give you.

I know it must be real scary. I'll try to be comforting. I assume you didnt have anal sex with her, and that you werent using needles. So, the risk is much reduced.

Gad, I don't get how your mum immediately fell to the conclusion that you had a homeless woman in your bed... especially if she was wearing pyjamas.

Was it the fact that she's 33?

Had your mom seen her on the streets before?

Did she look like a homeless woman?

Drug binges can fuck with your head severely, lack of sleep on top of that can make you almost delusional. I once broke down into tears because I thought it was 9am and not 9pm, and discovered the shop wasn't open... damn, that was a long time ago.

If you wore protection, you have a good chance of being STD free. I wish you all the best in that respect.

Shit. I got that alot. It's almost as bad as setting the alarm so you'll get to work on time and when you wake up it's pitch black and confusing and the alarm has been bleeping for hours and the streets are empty and you're not sure if you've slept for over a day or just a few hours..

Fucking a whore who might possibly have infected you, falling out with your mum, taking some really badly cut drugs and then almost getting your face smashed in by said whores ex pimp, really doesent sound like a good weekend.

I allways thought I was insecure.. but I'd never stoop so low as to beleive a word of what a whore said to me.

..Just..move on.

What sort of relationship could you have had with this woman, anyway?

would you really be cool with the fact she was out and about all the time getting high with strangers and possibly fucking them?

I don't think she was dirty just because she was homeless, but I'm assuming (and sorry for coming to this conclusion, but it makes sense) she got money for drugs and clothes (whether or not they were from the thrift store) somehow. You can probably get enough money from begging for food, but for all that, if you don't have a job, you probably got it some other way. If it was prostitution, THEN she is more likely to be "dirty." If she stole it, then you don't want to be around her, in case she does something stupid like that while on drugs. I'm not saying you don't want to help homeless people, but be wary of them.

She also could have been lying to you about all of her feelings. I'm sorry if that is the case since you felt something for her, but she obviously had mental issues, and she could either have just been having delusions thinking she liked you, or she could have just been completely nuts and was telling you all of that to fuck with your head (it sucks, but some people actually do that). And unless that other guy was lying to you, she was supposedly with him, so she cheated on him with you. Relationships that start with the other person cheating with you on someone else make me uneasy too, because they could just as well cheat on you.

The bottom line is, first impressions are sometimes off base. I met a lot of new people this summer, and they all seemed really cool at first, and some of them I even felt attracted to, but most of them turned out to be real fuckheads after a while. You don't want to go falling in love with or sleeping with someone you just met, because she could be a pathological liar or a psychopath or whatever. Be nice to her and hang out with her (or anyone in the future with whom a similar situation happens), but don't get attached physically or emotionally until you know her better.

Your an idiot man. I mean, sweet, come over to my house and buy some of my fuckin coke you jew! But yeah it can't usually be detected for up to 6 months like many people have said so there's not much you can do. My uncle has been living with HIV for over 10 years now. It's not too bad seeing him when he takes the medication. You just have perma-diarhea throw up sometimes, can't eat some nights, can't sleep others, cold sweats at night. Shit like that. Shitty but livable. My uncle before that in the 80's-90's before they had medication and shit for it well he was gay for most of his life and got it when he was about 30 it fucking destroyed him in about 2 years. He was blind and went into a coma for 6 months and died of liver failure. So that's the difference between getting it and getting help with it and letting it take over. Hahaha the only time he came out of the coma was when my mom asked him if he could see the angels when he was dying and he said "Of course I can't see the angels i'm fucking blind" then went back into the coma.

Get a grip, stop being saint lauren, its old. Some people just have to be told.

Like I said in that other thread, I only kissed those 4 girls because I actually liked them and saw dating potential.

People label me as a man-whore or a 'slut' because I am constantly going from girl to girl, but that's only because they are losing interest in me. It isn't because I'm some player out to fuck every girl in the world. Maybe if these chicks would stop fucking around and putting me through stupid tests and playing manipulative mind games, then I could actually find a steady relationship and stop sleeping around looking for love in all the wrong places.

Or would you have minded if any of those things were gone? You gotta have sympathy for the poor, eh?

That's the reason my mom didn't want her there. She was absolutely convinced that she would have stolen something. I may be naive in my assumptions, but I really doubt that she would have done that to me. I got to know her quite well over the time we spent together, and she had a pretty decent set of morals. She really didn't seem like the type that would do something like that, even out of the desperation for such an addictive drug as crack.

Besides, sometimes you have to take a risk when you trust someone. I actually had the most expensive item I had bought in a while stolen by a close friend one night, when I had only a select group of friends over after a night at the bar. My digital camera that I had bought only days prior was gone the next morning, and after I had the decency to let these "friends" into my home.

Actually you do raise a good point here. After her little freak-out session midway through sex, I found myself being a total hypocrite by suggesting that she try quitting crack. She uses it as a way to self-medicate, same reason I drink. I can't sit there and tell her to get off the drugs when I'm holding a beer in my hand at 5 in the morning.

We don't know if she's actually a whore or not. I guess it's common for people to just assume that because a woman is addicted to drugs, that she is automatically a whore, but that isn't always the case. Her main game was pan-handling, and she did it well. I really think (or at least hope) that she wasn't a dirty prostitute like most other crack addicted females.

Everyone makes mistakes and some are worse than others but they are still mistakes and if we MEANT to do them, they wouldn't be mistakes.

Thank you. I appreciate your support.

It's not like these are the types I go for. I just happened to meet her. It's all a matter of circumstance. My emotions tend not to discriminate very much, so I find myself getting involved with females from all walks of life. I've been with women of various different races, ages, levels of wealth, etc.

I guess I'm less shallow than I always thought myself to be...

I guess she just kinda had that aura about her. I mean, she was actually kind of decent looking considering the fact that she was homeless, 33 years old, and partially insane, but you could still tell I guess that she wasn't the cleanest, most drug-free person ever.

Given that, my mom is a prejudice, close-minded cunt, who lumps people into stereotypes and assumes that they all share the exact same qualities. I could go on for ages about how stupid my mom is, but I will just leave it at that.

I am definitely going to be abstaining from sex for a while. It will suck, but it is my moral obligation to do so. I wouldn't want to be responsible for ruining someone else's life (and then, consequently, anyone else whom they might fuck, and anyone whom they might fuck, and so on...)

STD's really are a scary thing.

As far as the drugs go, I've only smoked crack once since I was with her, and after that I realized that I might be heading down a bad path. I have been drinking alot more heavily though to compensate.

quote:Originally posted by emogan:

She also could have been lying to you about all of her feelings. I'm sorry if that is the case since you felt something for her, but she obviously had mental issues, and she could either have just been having delusions thinking she liked you, or she could have just been completely nuts and was telling you all of that to fuck with your head (it sucks, but some people actually do that).

It wasn't just the words that I was getting this from, but her actions as well. It was the little things I was picking up on that made it seem so real. I'm actually very skeptical myself when it comes to assessing another persons' feelings for me. In fact, I'm pretty damn paranoid. But I really think that there was some feeling there. I guess it is possible that it was all fake, but I would really like to think that maybe she did have at least some feelings for me, and that she will remember me in the future.

It's actually really depressing when I consider the fact that she may not even remember who I am in months to come. Because those moments we shared, while they may not always be important to her, were important to me.

It's like when my parents divorced, and my dad moved thousands of miles away. When I was just a young kid, it hurt quite alot every time he would leave. But while he was gone, things were easier. Having a parent come in and out of your life can be really heartbreaking.

So, Oh Great Humanitarian of Surrey? If you could talk to anyone or any group of people within a 100 miles? Could tell them the story you told us?

Which person or group would be most impressed? Who would slap you on the back, shake your hand? How about these women who take you up & then drop you? How many of them would see you in such a wonderful new light that they'd want to take up with you again?

Going all, "Ooooh! You're such a Man! I never realized?!"

Well gadzooks if you wore a condom your odds arn't that bad. Its not even a sure thing she has it. As long as no intro-venus drug use. The test right after won't show anything anyway can't be really sure for 2-3 months since it measures white blood cells.

damn! now that's nasty.. what a crazy fucking story.. definitly one of the posts of the year.

and dude please stop mentioning how 'attractive' she is-- no homeless abused drug addict with a truckload full of severe mental/emotional problems is attractive.

I'd love to see a picture of her.. pretty safe bet to say she's not a dime piece. and talking about how YOUNG she looks?? um.. sure buddy..sure.. probably comes from taking GREAT care of herself over the span of her life.. at 33 has probably what?? 20 years of substance abuse on her??.. I can just imagine-- a true Demi Moore! young beyond her years!! what a joke. you fucked an ABUSED, and (mentally)SICK hoodrat. stop trying to paint it like it's something different. on a scale 1-10 this female can't possibly be higher than a 2. bottom line.

I mean this whole thing is nuts.. asking her to MOVE IN WITH YOU??... you meet a homeless drug addict on the street and after a few hours of knowing her you ask her if she wants to live together?? LOL. just INSANE.. absolutely fucking crazy.. and to end up falling in love with her-- I mean this female is obviously wayyyy too unstable to even HAVE a relationship with ANYBODY. it's clear she needs hospitalization. and here you are attaching yourself to her, taking whatever comes out of her mouth to heart (like it means anything), and envisioning some sort of future with this women.. and on top of that you are 'shocked' when she ends up flipping out on you during sex, or goes beserk on you the morning after for no reason.. yea-- shocking.. untreated bipolar disorder, multiple personalities, drug addiction, i'm sure a history of abuse, homeless and most likely an STD-- but hey, who would of known she wold have had such a reaction?? I mean TOTALLY SHOCKING.. absolutely NO warning signs.. who would of thought!!

taking homeless drug addicts back to your MOMS crib to sit around and smoke crack with?? that's so sad.. how old are you and what do you do for a living??

I mean are your standards THAT low man?? cmon.. it has NOTHING to do with you not being shallow too by the way. it has to do with you not having enough self respect/value to find a decent female. any guy that had ANYTHING going for him would have known to flake off on this bitch ASAP. the fact you DIDN'T raises major red flags on how things are going in YOUR life.

I know I sound like an asshole but i'm not.. bottom line is this story is truly disgusting, and it's quite clear that you are still totally naive to how pathetic it really is.. I feel sorry for you. =/

C'mon man? Though people do form long term relationships with people they sleep with immediately? Where are the resources you can point to & quote that says that is a good idear?

Surely there must be folks on this vast internet that say that in certain cases you must ask someone to move in with you in <12 hrs or don't bother? Or maybe you can write up such a thing? Why it had to be so soon or no go?

Yeah I guess in hindsight it probably wasn't the best idea.

I just have a problem with taking things to fast. I can't stand waiting. I live life by the moment, and rarely contemplate the consequences of my actions. The future just seems so far away and unimportant.

Maybe that's the cause for all my woman problems and my financial problems.

LOL.. ok guy.. I'm sure all the dimes and top notch females are just banging down your moms front door to be with you.. smoking crack, heroin habits, rolling on xtc.. talk about a catch. I can only imagine the girls you hook up with, especially when referring to how highly you regard the female you talked about in your story.

anyway-- my point was that if things really were going good you wouldn't be falling in love with such an emotionally unhealthy and SICK person.. if you actually had DECENT female options you would be wise enough to know this girl isn't good relationship material.. but you don't because you dont have any. only someone desperate would get with a female like that (not even trying to be a dick), that's the facts..

asking her to live with you!! I still can't get over how ABSOLUTELY CRAZY that is...

quote:This has nothing to do with my standards. I'm just mature enough to be able to oversee shallow qualities in people. When you grow up, you will understand.

first of all reread the 2nd sentence of what you said in that paragraph.. it doesn't make sense-- atrocious writing, you look really stupid with that shit. anyway, the point you were TRYING to make on being shallow has NOTHING to do with it.. an example of being shallow would be like dumping your girlfriend if her bra size wasn't big enough.. that's something that would make a guy 'shallow'.

being able to understand that getting emotionally invested or involved in a drug addicted, abused, and mentally sick person isn't the most healthy idea has NOTHING to do with being shallow.. it has to do with COMMON SENSE..

I mean she's not even close to being mentally/emotionally HEALTHY enough to meer her own needs , (I mean HOMELESS at 33?? uhh.. didn't raise any red flags )and you are investing something in her like she would be able to serve YOUR needs in a relationship?? your fucking INSANE.. it's called USING COMMON SENSE. and you didn't use a SHRED of common sense in that whole story. that's what it comes down to. INSANE.

Here's a theory: Maybe my sympathetic nature opened up my eyes and allowed me to see her for the person she actually is deep down inside, and not just what close-minded people like you see.

Maybe if you stopped judging people so abruptly you would be able to get more out of life than just "fucking a dime bitch".

And of course, I am not going to get into an argument about my sexual history, as that is irrelevant (even though I'm pretty confident that I am in a better position than you are in that respect).

totally missing my point on how if you had a SHRED of common sense, her huge emotional health and stability issues would have tipped you off that she is not capable of an intimate relationship. which is what you were investing in her.. totally over your head.. why do I even bother.

I mean this person is SICK.. it sounds like she needs to be in a hospital you dumb fuck.. a HOSPITAL.. a very sick and desperate female who was floating out there looking for a life preserver that you gave her. she would have gone with ANYBODY. she was homeless for christ sake.. you took her under your wing and she of course accepted. but yea, what a DEEP connection you guys had.. you saw her for, "the person she truly was"-- whatever the FUCK that's supposed to mean.. idiot.

How can you make such an in-depth analysis into someone you've never even met? You are just lumping her into a broad category that you assume she must fit based on what little information you know about her.

Yes, she is unstable. Does that mean that she is unworthy of another persons love? She is supposed to be cursed not only with her own emotional problems, but also with having to be alone forever?

And hmm... she somehow managed to attract a husband (who was actually a clean-cut, normal guy, who didn't even use drugs anymore, and could have probably done alot better -if we were only judging by how you perceive her).

Regardless, your initial statement was just a stab at my supposedly low standards... Which is retarded because you don't even know what you're talking about. You don't know me personally. You don't know her personally. And you don't know who or what I have done in my past.

So next time, try making your point without trying to come off all superior and condescending.

no, she is worthy of someones love, but if somebody isn't able to love themselves first and meet their OWN emotional needs then they won't be able to meet someone elses. you investing in this women romantically is actually selfish on your part. she's not capable of meeting those needs so it's selfish of YOU to expect her too. you were attaching yourself to her just because of YOUR NEEDINESS.. PEROID..

and your comment about her marrying a good guy-- all that tells us is that she was too chaotic to stay in a healthy relationship.. It actually only demonstrates my point even more about how she isn't HEALTHY enough to invest in emotionally.. I mean she doesn't even have a relationship her daughter =/.. 33 and still doesn't have her shit together.. sad fact is she probably won't ever. and you sure as hell can't save this girl, in way too over your head. the fact you can't see that only shows how LOW your Emotional IQ is.

i honestly do not judge gadzooks for doing what he did. do i think he's some kind of saint for sleeping with a homeless woman? no, and i don't think he's delusional enough to believe that either. and i think everyone's aware that it wasn't a "smart" choice. but really. he found himself interested in someone and followed that interest. in the process he may have exposed himself to danger and crossed social boundaries. i wouldn't have made the choices he did, but there's nothing fundamentally wrong with sleeping with someone who has pyschological problems and no home. she clearly wanted it just as much as he did.

Just look at how many people hate you... (http://tinyurl.com/yeb52f)

Here's another example. (http://tinyurl.com/yfxy7o)

I could probably dig up plenty more, but I have much better things to do than to sit here and try to make other people look bad to compensate for my own shortcomings like you do.

Do the world a favor and take your own advice: KILL YOURSELF.

Crack, yeah, I can see that. But herione? dumbfuck.

Lol. The drug (and spelling) ignorance in this thread astounds me...

Somehow, I think "sort your fucking life out" is still a pretty valid suggestion.

It was a matter of circumstances. You can't help who develop feelings for, now can you?

The funny thing is, is that you actually looked those threads up. Then question if I have a life or not. Having that shit saved on your computer is not a good thing man.

You should probably look into that, while you are looking into that rehab program. I hope you get your life together you know, we need more crack addicts that have been "saved" to sack groceries.

Just because you say you are going to "not" get me banned doesn't mean I have to believe it. You are the nerdy guy who is obsessed with his superior, and can't get over the fact that your relentless and pathetic attacks on me are pointless.

I'm not going to be banned, I don't break the rules, you are a cunt, all you can do is try to bring others to your side with manipulation. While on the other hand people come to my side through their own will. You aren't a leader, you are a follower.

You will always be a follower, you can't help me. I will take you under my guidance if you wish it, but please stop trying to make it seem like you are either witty, intelligent, or have an effect on ANYONE's life whatsoever.

I bet your own mother doesn't even love you.

Its almost funny, people deal with carbonb's posts much like the 5 stages of death and acceptance. At first everyone denies what he is saying completely and that he has any right to say it (DENIAL). Then they get really pissed at him for saying what hes saying and just call him an asshole (ANGER). After that people will try to reason with him and get him to try to stop the squabbeling (BARGAINING). Next everyone just kind've loses all hope in totse and all intelligent life because they can't believe that one person could be so damn stubborn and insensitive no matter what the subject matter (DEPRESSION). Finally people will just kind've realize that he is just an asshole and just stop responding and let the thread die (ACCEPTANCE).

Just read this whole thread over again and you can see the stages perfectly.

I like to live for the moment, and live life to the fullest.

I still don't even know what the fuck I did wrong, actually. I met a woman, I developped feelings for her, we ended up having sex, which is what usually happens when to people take a liking to each other.

I wore a condom. What more could I have done to protect myself from any STI's?

Not only that, but how was I supposed to know that she *might* be HIV+? Anyone could be HIV+. The next person you fuck could be HIV+ for all you know.

gadzooks, you are a good human being and this is a good love story in which two people with similar interests have what sounded like a good time and consensual sex. You will always have that experience and I feel for you on the lingering feelings, but man the people are right who are saying, "Get your shit together" You are 22 living at home and still rampantly doing drugs.

Get clean, get a job, get out of your house, and fall in love. It sounds like you are a romantic and want to fall in love. It isn't too late to start a life that doesn't revolve around drugs. Put your skills to use, Tom Servo was right on the writing skills thing man. You are a very good person and deserve a good life of your choosing.

Shit, I began to get all worried, I saw the date as November 8 but I didn't see the year so I thought it was this year. I remembered reading this thread and the story seemed familiar, so I thought it happened again, lol. Then I saw the year and all my worries just fell away.

What a fuckin epic tale that was!

FYI...she WAS most definitely suffering from multiple personalities. I was with a broad for a number of months that had that, and hell yeah dude.....the shit is beyond scarey. If you woulda been around her long enough, you would have gotten used to it over time......kinda like adapting to a new person walking into the room. It is trippy though.

Writing a thread title like that is the one thing that's worth getting aids, lol...

Anyways... the chance of MtF HIV transmission from a single exposure is something like 2%. FtM transmission is actually far less likely. Doesn't mean you should fuck aids-ho's 24/7, does mean you're chances aren't that bad. Take the advice about booking it to the hospital and picking up a week's run of AZT.

So - learned your lessons about using a barrier method yet?

Sucks that you got your heart broken by your 2-hour crack crush, but accentuate the positive : write after you found out she was way too psycho to get with, someone took her off your hands. Perfect! 'n best of all, you can still be friends. YAY!

Bitch-slap your mom for me, and wear a condom next time you fuck the shit out of an IV-using crackho, k?

Edit : nevermind, last year's news... how'd it go?

I was expecting a bel-air....... then as I scrolled down, I realized how long this thread was..... I successfully deduced that there is no way this thread has this many replies after just being posted...... so with an incredible amount of willpower, I forced myself to look at the date.

Fucking bump, eh?

Gadzooks. Were you (in the original story) hanging out at Surrey Central Bus station? Or KG? Or Newton?

He used to hang out under the bridge. The Patello Bridge?

There was a secret spitoon & street girl club there. You BYOB & BYOC/H & talk to the street girls...if they're not passed out or having a mouth full of some...thing...

And if someone OD's? It's into the river wit' 'em!

Garret? did you ever go in for the testing yourself?

To see what kind of damage you've done to your poor, wee brain? It's obvious to a lot of us...though you may be too damaged to see it yourself... EEK!

It actually all started in White Rock. I'm from Surrey, but I ended up stranded in White Rock the night before because I had missed the last bus back to Surrey, and I was on a drug/drinking binge with my friend. Then I met her out there in the morning, then we took the bus together back to Surrey...

FYI...she WAS most definitely suffering from multiple personalities. I was with a broad for a number of months that had that, and hell yeah dude.....the shit is beyond scarey. Yeah, she was an interesting character(s) alright. But with her addiction on top of it, it was just too much...

Plus, sometimes, she could be kind of a demanding bitch... :p

Just for the record, I did wear a condom. But I was under the impression that HIV was MUCH more easily transferable than it truly is. Of course, after this thread and conducting some research I discovered that the chances were extremely slim that I actually contracted something.

But anyway, I got tested. Came out clean.

I also ran into her several months ago. We hung out for a bit, but then I realized that she's just too much to handle. The mental issues, the crack addiction, the homelessness, etc...

Plus, she was probably just using me for what little drug money I had, and a place to stay. So it's all for the better I suppose...

How far along are you now in paying off that 15k debt and how are you going about doing it?

Also, how the fuck did that happen in the first place?

I'm actually at about 25k in debts now. But I stopped it from increasing (other than interest). I'm slowly paying it all off.

And it includes things from student loans to credit card debts, to personal loans, to lawyer fees and fines. Etc etc...
