Dominance or Confidence?!
Alrrrright, so when a guy act's like an 'asshole', or whatever, the girl always says that she likes his confidence. But I've also heard that it's the dominance that she likes.
So what is it? Do you enjoy when a guy is dominant, confident, or both?

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
I don't like it when they're dominant, I like it when they're honest, which could be a form of confidence.
But I don't even really like guys so much, so I don't know why I posted..

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
Both kind of. Make sure you're confident, but try being dominant as in you choose where you sit in a movie theatre. Just make small decisions like that to show you have control. Don't push her around or be rude to her, just be in charge. Dominance probably won't matter as much when you're in a serious relationship though, just don't let her make all the decisions.

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
I'm not a girl, stop aiming threads at girls, they don't know anything.
I like to be both confident, dominant, and honest, and caring, sometimes it's hard to be caring but it needs to be in there, and the most important part is... well I don't know the most important part.
My point is, girls like guys who are both, in general.

And I'd like a toilet made of solid gold but its just not in the cards now is it?

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
Like Flock said. Honesty is the best policy!
If you want to be with a girl, you have to make a pitch of some kind.
When you ask her out don't say "Can we do something sometime?"
Say: "Can we go out to the movies and grab a coffee on saturday afternoon?"
It's the power of suggestion. Make your pitch! Give her an excuse to say yes.

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
Dominance hands down.
I've seen real pimps in action (pimp meaning pimp, not slang for player.) and confidant nice guys in relationships. I've never seen a woman sell her body and soul for a non-dominant but confidant guy so they can keep a roof over their heads. No, it was the overbearing , controlling and dominant personality type that gets their women to be that dedicated to them. I don't mean to advocate abuse or actauly pandering your woman, but I think its an interesting thought
and observation.
This view may be twisted, yet its not because I grew up or brought up that way. It's because of my recent observations, relationships and experiences I've had with women I've had that got me thinking this way. Cause I never seen a woman get bitchy and crazy on their boyfriend when their S.O is a complete asshole. I don't mean assertive. I mean complete dick. She actaully nice and loyal to him. When I got this way just to try it, guess what? The women I was with stopped with the drama games and began to treat me with respect. Women love to play the victim. When you don't put them in that role, they make you pay. Own them and they become the perfect house wife.

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
I wasn't neccissarly aiming the topic at girls.
And yeah, from what I've seen, it's more dominance then confidence. Although, if you are already in a long-term loving relationship, then it should probably just stick to confidence. If you're trying to pick up a girl, dominance works a lot better.

Re: Dominance or Confidence?!
They like both.
Like it or not girls you like both.
It's been like that since the dawn of time women like it or not have always looking for the alpha male. Its imprinted in there brain to find the protector.
It's psychology look it up.
