Shaving is better because:

- Many people are afraid to have scissors near there

- Most people don't have electric clippers

- It does not itch or burn or whatever, contrary to popular belief, if you do it right which isn't hard (across the grain, silleh)

I don't shave, I just cut them to a length of about 1 cm with a pair of scissors. Still nice and grown up looking without the hassle and the jungle look.
