that after-sex problem
I'm not very sexually-knowledgable. I (male) was a late bloomer and am currently still with my first sexual partner (female).
She has told me about a vaginally/cervically- centered bacterial condition that occurs in women when they don't urinate after sex. She is pretty freaked about it, and tends to disappear while the 'afterglow' is still strong, and it kind of kills the mood.
I have talked to some female friends who have given me varied responses, and I can't find much past journal references on the internet. What I've gleaned this condition is very real, but occurs infrequently, is harmful only if left for days, and may not occur at all.
Anyone care to clear up the mist? I'd like to be able to reassure her with more than just unfounded encouragement.

Re: that after-sex problem
Lots of chicks like to go to the bathroom right after... sometimes just to clean up... Especially if you bust in 'em

Is the pee supposed to burn that shit out?
I'm hella confused now..
Alsoif i go to the bathroom after its to, like mentioned, clean up and also because while you get banged your bladder gets it too and it makes some girls have to go pee.
I recommend fucking on empty bladder.

Re: that after-sex problem
I've never even heard of that before and I've been having sex for years. My girlfriend rarely pees after sex, and its usually because she had to go when we started in the first place. Shes never had any problems from not peeing.
...wtf, I think thats someone who is new to having a vag, and is just being paranoid.

Re: that after-sex problem
she's talking about a urinary tract infection, but i think she's a little confused as to where they occur. peeing after sex helps uti's. however she doesn't really need to leap off you like you're the titanic and go to the bathroom. just within...hm...say, 15-20 minutes. uti's are something you want to avoid.

Re: that after-sex problem
I'd say peeing in general helps UTI's holding it up is bad, so go fucking pee before sex. wtf?

Re: that after-sex problem
sigh.
obviously pee when you have to pee.
peeing after sex helps reduce the likeliness of getting a uti because bacteria can get pushed from the vagina to the urethra, which is bad. peeing helps get it out, thus preventing a uti which is caused by this bacteria.

Re: that after-sex problem
Is she afraid to pee after having sex?
Your post is rather confusing to me.
Tell her to make an appointment to talk to an ob/gyn and get the real scoop on things and means of preventing infections.
BTW:
Always try to wash your hands before sex (unless you don't plan on touching her genitals at all). You do know how dirty hands can get, don't you?

Re: that after-sex problem
no one seems to take in consideration that the vagina has it's own means of cleansing and protection, with it's acidy ph level and all that, again infections.
It's nothing you have to be over actively worried about if you're a clean person.
You don't have to run to the toilet after sex because if not you'll get a uti, that's bull.
For the record I've never had any problems with my vag, it's a matter of simple personal hygene is all.

Re: that after-sex problem
it is said that urinating after sex can help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections. i usually don't...but in the past two months i have had 2 utis. so...im gonna start.
she doesnt have to do it the exact second after the deed is done. just within like 10 minutes or so.

I agree with Argon. You exactly contract a bacterial infection of the cervix unles you have sexual contact with someone who has a bacterial infection.

Re: that after-sex problem
Oh man when me and my girlfriend first started fucking she used to get that all the time. Probably cause we would fuck like 5 times in like an hour or two. (premature ejaculation :mad
She shouldn't worry too much about it as long as your both clean. And try not to use spit cause I think that could be part of it too.
But she can wait atleast 15-20 minutes before. We're real careful now and it hasn't happend in over a year.
