She used to have a thing for me a couple years ago but back then I was a huge pussy and didn't pursue it. We got really close and now seriously can't go a day without speaking about random shit. It's not one of those things where I listen to her talk about pretty ponies and that shit, I can actually discuss things like buttsex and proper beer pong technique with this girl.

I guess the reason I have feelings for her is because I can talk to her like a guy but still get the womanly opinion. And she has a real vagina!

But I have a lot of female freinds like this. I dont know why but I actually geniunley really like this girl, not just want to fuck her.

Anyway she just told me that we will never hook up since we're too close and it would be awkward. Which is absolutley the truth. But I still want it.

Sorry, but it most likely will never happen. I'm just being honest with you so that hopefully you won't waste your time. Although chances are, no matter how many times you hear that, it won't fully register.

It does happen the other way around. Ive known girls who have a guy best friend who long for them but is too afraid to say anything.

Annoying thing is if it WAS the other way round i doubt the guy would say "its too weird"

It's not like I can't live without her being my girlfreind though. I know this is a complete cliche, but I'd much rather have her in my life as a friend then not have her in my life at all.

you have one chance...the problem is shes already explained the underlying rule to you - best friends of the oposite sex are very dangerous ground for relationships - you've already told them your troubles, they know you through and through.



there was a thread not so long ago about 1 guy who has both a girlfirend and a sleeping partner...the basis is they cuddle up in bed overnight and stuff but there no fundemental relatioship bonds...just a sleep buddy.

If your willing to go down that road and say, stay the night(s) at her place, generally you should be able to push for a bed share...just roll on from there!

I would start slowly tho..she may just want to cuddle, then try other stuff, whispering in ear how you feel about her etc etc...
