Default Whos right in this one? (kind of long)

My ex gf reads SA so im shure youll see plenty of drama here. I need a third party opinion on my situation.

Heres the story: We broke in the middle of june this year. We were still friends and hookedup on occasin it all was ok. She was constantly getting me to "share my feelings" about our relationship to which I never gave much of an answer because I never had one. Well in one of our conversations she said she would tell me if she made out/hooked up with a guy. I seen no point to it, but because she would probably never let the subject go, I also said I would

Last weekend I did end up hooking up with a girl and didnt tell her about it. This is 4 months after our breakup, I dont think its any of her damn business to know so I didnt tell her. Well some pics came up on facebook and alot of them had the girl and me in them, including one of which she was kissing me. The next day Ex Gf freaks on this and we had a DAY LONG argument about me not telling her about it, because she told me she made out with a guy at a party she went to this weekend. I once again said this was none of her business and I didnt have to tell her shit if I didnt want to.

Well today shit hit the fan and she ended up finding out that I hooked up with the girl in all the pics. So she calls me, flips out, and says shes coming over saturday and giving me back my stuff. What this "stuff" contains is most likely a box of memory stuff she kept while we were dating (we dated 3 years) and maybe a shirt or pajamma pants. Amoung that she also sent me an AIM message saying this "I fucking hate you", "dont talk to me again" "Seriously i am through with you....FUCK YOU"

So whats your opinions on these series of events.

She still has feelings for you. It's not her business, and she has no right to expect anything from you. Hope she removes herself from your life until she can get over you.

my opinions...

1) When you date a girl for three years, you dont continue to hook up after the breakup. Obviously, she's still emotionally attached, and it makes things more difficult.

2) Telling each other about your exploits is a bad idea. She shouldnt have asked. You shouldnt have agreed. I'd want to know too, but honestly it's just an excuse to hurt the other person.

3) You have no control over the first two. Whats done is done. It sounds to me like its finally time for the breakup that happened back in july to kick in. She'll be pissed for a while, and its better for both of you that you have some distance. In a few months, she'll come around and you can attempt a platonic relationship again.

1+2 are really good points. Between hooking up once in a while in the summer, she still wanted to hang out alot citing "well never see eachother when you go back to school" Well shes been to my school with her friend that is dating my friend like 7 times. But then again I did say it was alright to come up. But in the end it did nothing positive

Just so you know, I'm in the exact same boat as you. I broke up with my long-term girlfriend back in july as well and she went away to college in the fall. We still hook up fairly regularly. And she's still emotionally attached to me. She dates other guys on college, which I encourage. But she feels bad about it anyways. I dunno...women dont think like we do.

That's because it is high school bullshit Avoid the ex, OP, and life will be happy, with just a little less drama.
